Kari Mutu - When Your Ducks Aren't In A Row

Kari has always loved structure. She prefers it when her ducks are in a row, but life has its twists and turns. When she unexpectedly loses her job, her ducks waddle out of row and life as she knew it spun out of focus. In real life, being fired is nothing like it is in the movies, it is brutal and Kari went through denial, anger and frustration. Getting another job proved challenging for her and it was spiraling out of control for her. This experience changed her, in this talk, she shares her experience lets us in on how she navigated life in a period when her stars did not seem to align, which began with her changing one ‘F’ word for another ‘F’ word.

Story of my life. Totally relate. Thank you for sharing. Being unemployed and moving from a 6 figure salaty to barely makeing 4 figures is the stuff of nightmares, but it happens, and its painful. You hit rock bottom, such that the ny place you have to go is up, or stay there at rock bottom. The way up is however full of rocks and thorns...and I am thinking she's ony shared 10% of the anguish and struggles she went through while reinventing her self. Its tough.
