Mrs. Asego, one of the best teachers that I had an opportunity to interact with during my years in Olympic primary.
What a motivational story! Mrs Asego never gave up on her daughter and neither did her daughter Cathy give up on herself! It was also great watching the 3 generations of women; a mother, her daughter and her granddaughter who's now an adult and a lawyer ❤
Can I also add that it was glad to know that the Asegos have Teso blood in them! I come from Teso and was happy to hear the name Atyang❤ Unlike other plain Nilotes (Maasai, Samburu and the Turkana), Tesos are quite few in Kenya so we easily recognize each other. The majority of the Tesos are across the border, in Uganda.
Mrs. Asego is 1 in a million. She was the mother of all at ayany estate. Whether you lived in A or Z we all knew her. She gave us all tough gentle love. ❤
