    @LuigiBoVerFinal Only the hi-hats have full range in this vid. Because I started on MPC and the pad sensitivity was so hit or miss, I tend to program two of the same sounds next to each other to get two different velocities/volumes. I still use this a lot with Maschine because it's comfortable and makes some stuff easier. You can alter the amount of velocity sensitivity for each pad/sound and I would highly recommend that. Especially for bass drums and stuff you want to be consistent.

    @LuigiBoVerFinal you can set a fixed velocity for a sound, i think it's somewehre on pad mode

    @LuigiBoVerFinal Před 13 lety

    @Frace91 I know that but that locks it to a set volume. In his videos he has the full range but for some reason when I try to duplicate what he does my pad will sometimes cancel it's noise out.

    Jeremy, I was wondering. Are you right or left handed? I use that same technique/arrangement for a lot of my kits but with the HH above the Kick and the Snare to the right of the Kick (kinda like yours thrown through a mirror and rotated). You look pretty ambidextrous to me though XD. Kickass tutorials by the way. I'm gonna have to try out some drills like #10 soon!

    How do you fer the full velocity out of the pads without full level? I know you have dynamics when you play live but when I play one pad too fast it kind of just dies out...

    basically, development of hi hat speed with alternating fingers, i also clall it the aarab technique because of his fast hat plays :p
