Hey Noah this video was a life saver. I was so bogged down with tc 50 as since morning to start and make it go but it just shuts off. My kid was disappointed she could not ride and I was thinking she will miss tomorrow too if it needs to be taken to the workshop. But followed your video and it worked like a charm. Great video very informative
On cold starts I will pull the choke, hold the throttle wide open and while holding the kill switch I slowly turn the engine over almost 2 full rotations. I then turn the choke off and with the piston just before tdc I give it a kick. This it the best method I learned for starting froggy engines.

do you have to play with the jets much?
Just got my son a 2023 50 mini. When he sits for a second then takes off the bike will bog down and not go anywhere until it clears out then it will go. Do you suppose what you explained will fix that issue? It’s hard to practice starts when he can’t go anywhere. Thanks!
100% follow these steps to see if it fixes the problem. It doesn’t take long to fine tune it. The steps should be clear so you don’t need to second guess it. If this doesn’t work for you it is likely another problem. The big 3 would be clutch/stator/carb internals
Mini has an oil tank and will over oil when sitting idling.

i hate phbg's to be honest, im running a 21 version on my street 2 stroke racer, and torque is insane, acceleration amazing, but it cant fill the bowl fast enough when you are going close to WOT for a little more than 20 seconds.

My son's was first kick now it's a few kicks and dies 30 seconds later and won't crank until it sits a while
If you’ve go be through the steps in this video your problem is something else. Next two things to check are the OHMs on the stator and a compression test. Good luck!
