The annoying thing about the K&F magnetic range is that they don't have any ND16 or ND32 filters. I was also frustrated by the fact that all filters come with an adapter, or adapter+lens cover, and you can't buy the filters individually, therefore paying more than you need to. I messaged K&F about this and they advised I could have individual filters sent at £20 each + £10 shipping which is useful, however I need them next week and they advised it could take anywhere from 7 - 15 days for delivery
I’ve got a set of these. Colour cast is a pain and quite bad on my set. Magnet could be stronger as mine have fallen off on occasions. overall okay, but could be so much better. I.e. a step up ring on the lens and include A lens To suit. Also three or six stop in the filter rather than useless UV filter o’clock. My two cents :-)
my biggest issue with any magnatic filter set is that no one offers lenshoods. or even just a ring that converts back to a thread so you can screw a hood onto it
Having the UV filter is exactly what I want, I don't want my front lens element to ever be exposed so this is perfect. UV filter always on the lens and I get to use ND filters which I prefer over variable ND filters with the added pro of never needing to take off the UV filter.
Will never understand that thinking but ok...I've been shooting landscape photography for 18 years , I usually hike 10-20km in 1 day, have been to very dusty environments, shoot in the rain and every sort of condition you can imagine. I've always used Lens hoods for protection, never had a single issue. The only filters I use are polarizers and NDs. Can't understand why people are afraid to leave the lens exposed nowadays , when they have top quality coatings and the lens hood is there for protection. Literally having a UV filter is having another unecessary layer of glass that regardless of what many say, does indeed reduce the quality of your image even if by only a little in high quality filters. But hey you do what works for you!
@@ThatNorma To be honest, not using a UV filter is probably the best way but even if I get a tiny dust spec on my lens element, I am afraid to touch it with a cloth in case wiping the dust scratched the element. I would be kicking myself so hard if I didn't have UV filter and something like that happened so I just prefer to be on the safer side, you know? I can always replace the UV filter for much cheaper than the lens if that get scratched. Just being overfly worried about damaging my stuff which may not be a good thing, but I don't make money from photography so I can't afford to be replacing some of my more expensive glass.

I use Nikon S glass and I know it wont scratch by cleaning with a cloth, still my main aim is to not even let it scratch as I blow it with a blower before applying a cloth. but like you I dont make money from photography and I know Im putting myself at risk because no matter how careful I am, theres always a chance I suffer a fall or drop/rub my lenses in a rock while hiking. Hope it never happens but totally respect your thinking

It's the same as screwing on any other filter. Probably over time when you screw/unscrew it 500 000 (?) times, it might. But I doubt you would really notice? 🤷♂️

Do you know if this would fit on a canon sx50 bridge camera? All i know so far is that i need a "filter adapter FA-DC67A", but im not sure if this adapter already has the filter adapter that would fit. Im not sure what to buy.
May i use it with a sigma 16-28 on a a7iv at 16mm for video without viggneting? I want that filters pack for real estate video. Or how can i repair in video the viggnette?
Would the vignet be there when using an 82mm set on a 77mm lens or smaller? I'd imagine you wouldn't see any indide of the filters and even with one filter get no vignetting since you're using less of the outside of the filter? Or am I wrong in this? I always tend to buy 82mm filters and just buy seperate adapters for every lens like 72-82 or 77-82...
Kase is literally at the Top of the filter world , right there with NiSi. Seen plenty of testing from all the top brands and Kase mostly comes on top in many of the reviews i've seen.

That is annoying yes! They are not perfect but a good "budget" option.

Yea, I agree on that Andy. What a pain that your set has so much color cast. I was worried about it as well but only noticed it on the polarizer.

Most of them, like these K&F have a magnetic cover available.
i really like that the uv filter also serves as an adapter because i alway use uv filter to protect the front element of my lenses.

They don't have a screw on thread. So you need the magnetic adapter.

I think you could solve the vignette problem with a larger set as you pointed out
Sorry but the reason those other kits are more expensive is that actually have useful filters in the kit and MORE filters in the kit!
Freewell for example has a similar kit (UV, CPL and ND1000) for $250,-. And I'm not arguing that the higher price of other brands isn't justified.
