I'm a professional photographer with over 29 years of experience. In late 2012 I completed my career as a British Army professional photographer, and during my service I travelled worldwide covering the army during training and on operations.
I live in North Yorkshire, England and predominately photograph my landscapes throughout North Yorkshire, The Lake District, Northern England and Scotland, but lately I travelled as far as stunning Iceland to conduct a landscape photography workshop.
I have a creative and passionate approach to my work and I enjoy learning new styles and ways of capturing and editing my images to produce images that are interesting and captivating.
I am available for photography training on a 1 to 1 basis or for group training workshops, so please contact me and I will tailor the training to your specific needs.

It very much depends on a few factors….time…self drive or not…and what you want to photograph. As mentioned in the video I would definitely get the Dolomites book as it’s full of interesting information and fantastic for planning your trip.

Stunning photos Mick, bravo. We went to Sorentto for a big family holiday and wedding in the summer, I hated it, awful place, like Blackpool in a heat wave. Would love to go back to italy and stop near Lake Garda, take my push bike, ride up into the mountains, but now I'll defo add full camera gear to the list. Well done, awesome vid mate.
Cheers buddy, we are going back to Italy in the summer and taking in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakia. The footage isn’t great as it was literally go to the location shoot the images and on to the next place. Believe it or not I only shot just over 500 frames..Vlogging and photography is such hard work!! I would have loved another 3 days at least to really explore the area. Tre Cime is jaw dropping and I didn’t do it justice….

Hello Mick. First of all I must say that this video has been quite inspiring. I will be traveling to that area the third week of September hoping to capture some great shots. If I may ask, which lenses did you use to capture such wonderful landscape pics? Thanks!
24-70 and 70-300mm
I find myself fast forward the part showing your pictures because of the annoying music. It doesn't sound good and sounds like musac that your have heard 1000 times before. And it's too loud (which almost all yourtubers get wrong) and overly dramatic.
Thanks for the feedback. I use iMove so not the best for tweaking sound levels, although I’m now learning DeVinci. I think the comment on the music is subjective and I’m sticking to what I think works for me, the Dolomites are totally dramatic so the music ain’t changing… I look forward to checking out your videos 👍📸
