I've been waiting for this game since 2021 (that's when I saw that you were creating it) and I was hoping that it would actually come out in 2021 and it annoys me a bit that you keep postponing the release date from year to year, but I know that you probably need more time to make this game to make it error-free with good graphics and optimization and I really want to play it because when I was a little kid I was probably 7 years old when you released Train Mechanic 2017 and on CZcams I saw a video of this game, after watching it I simply fell in love with it but unfortunately I couldn't play it because I didn't have the computer
the game is really starting to look good and I wish you all the best, but it seems to me that the only thing that can stop me from playing this game is the price and my old laptop
(I think that if you cooperated with the creators of the game "Derail Valley", you could create the best train game together)
probably no one is interested in this but I wanted to write it. have a nice day🙂
and sorry for any mistakes but I use google translator
This is looking really good. Can't wait to try it out once it launches.
Thank you so much :)
Thios BR52 has the wrong whistle. If its a german one you need the DR Einheitspfeife, If its a polish one then this whistle is ok, but then it's a Ty 2 not BR 52
Yes, the whistle is modeled after Ty2. Wa call our locomotive BR52, but in fact this is a modern locomotive based on BR52, such as Ty2. The idea is that game takes place in modern times and since parts can be hard to get, workshops simply work with what they can get - so the locomotives can sometimes end up as hybrids or even with completely improvised parts. For example, there is a flap on top of cabin with a cover designed to create draft, but we have seen Ty42 that has that cover removed and flap replaced with glass window - to let more light into the cabin. We liked that window and placed it on our roof as well. In reality, even between Ty2 you will get many variations - especially in cabin. But we're always thankful for feedback such as yours. We will not pretend to be railway experts and taking some liberties just makes it easier for us. In the end, we believe that it doesn't break immersion, since hybrids can be a result of improvised maintenance - especially in modern times. At the same time we understand that people would appreciate a locomotive faithful to a specific original design, so we keep that in mind.
Well done but what's about its Sounds?
We are a small team and must choose carefully what we focus on each month. There's more to sounds in games than just recording and playing them back. They must be linked to physics and react to everything happening in the game. We have already made many things have dynamic sounds, but we're definitely not done yet. Stay tuned and be sure to check out future devlogs - you may find what you were looking for and maybe even some things you didn't know you were looking for. We like to surprise!
what whould be the pirce?
Great, the game just keeps getting better. Ladders are a whole separate hell to develop, I'm surprised they were added at all. Special thanks for the Ukrainian language - it will help promote the game among my compatriots.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Glad you like it ^^
