Funny how a smaller game could have more features like multiplayer than TSW2

@@utaamtrak9584 graphics are not the most important thing in a sim. I'm hoping for a decent SDK in this one and modability for the community. I've got a great setup at home that I've never been able to properly use in TSW and am looking for a sim that will enable me to use it again.
@@Hans-gb4mv For me I think it's important for immersion. So it's worth having TSW 1 and 2. It's also why I can't play TS it's so ugly.

@Graham Duensing DTG = Dovetail Games. They made TSW 2 = Train Sim World 2. Which was released this year, a year after DTG released Train Sim World (1). Before that, DTG made the Train Simulator (TS) series, where they made an "update" every year (but not much changed per update).

Even for me as a German it's a good thing, since on so many German routes you see so many flaws and wrong stuff all along the tracks, it's just... I don't know. Looking forward for this simulation.

Well, we already have Trainz and Train Simulator. Trainz is 100x better than TS.
Finally, a train simulator NOT made by dovetail, and seems actually good.
Trainz is pretty good too, but it's more like a game than a sim. DTG's stuff isnt realistic either, so who cares
@@RatorLP at least they have the full ECML route, although dated (1976). I'd prefer that over just London to Reading (TSW) or Marseille to Avignon (TS). Oh and forgot to mention, unlike the latter, ECML's free too.

Whoops, worded that strange. I know they make TSW 2. What I'm saying is that since this game has a few things which TSW 2 doesn't currently have, like steam and multiplayer, it will end Dovetail's monopoly on realistic train simulation forcing them to upgrade their game instead of losing out to their competitors.

Looks amazing! Finally a sim that will have almost everything that rail sim fans wanted for ages now! First of all it will break already boring bubble of US/UK/German/Asia (Japan/China) rail lines that are featured in almost every sim. On top of that it will have a dispatcher mode that I'm personally curious about and a big cherry on a cake which is a multiplayer. With good mod support and well designed dlc scenarios and routes, this product surely has massive potential to quickly become top rail sim that will add so needed competition on that market. And who knows if it's turned into long term platform that gets constant upgrades it will be go to pick for every rail sim fan.

Yes. I have been playing TSW 1 and TSW 2 fir a while now but it feels very lacking just in scenery and routes. They always seem to do the American, European and UK routes which to be honest gets a bit boring. No Asian routes or Australian routes. You would think that they could have included those routes in in due time. I do hope DTG brings out more route options, trains and improved modelling more so on scenery. One can only hope though. I hope this Sim comes out on console.

@@bartoszkrawczyk3946 No i jest jeszcze TD2, ale SimRail ma szansę zmieść go trybem multiplayer i dyżurką, o ile nie wyskoczą z ceną 200zł. MaSzyna leży głęboko w moim serduszku, ale to projekt fanowski, a nie pochodzący z dużego studia gier.

Finally, a dev team who listens to the public. If they bring an operations based model to the US. They’ll be the kings of American train sims. Run8 is great, but old, and nothing from trainz or dtg is capable enough.
Run8 is also too expensive.
@@Trainlover1995 idk about that, it does things no other train sim has been able to do. All there routes are connected. I can literally run a train from Seligman AZ to the LA trench.

I had SO MUCH hope for Run8. With the right dev team and funding, all the other train sims are essentially obsolete.
Super wiadomość. Największa prośba do was, nie skopcie tego projektu. Niech to będzie prawdziwy symulator i połączenie najlepszych cech Maszyny i TD2. Niech to będzie w końcu coś dopracowanego, coś co działa nie wywala błedów, a Twórcy nie kłócą sami ze sobą, tak jak to ma miejsce w tych 2 projektach. Mam nadzieje, że będzie rozbudwowany SDK i wasze wsparcie do modów. Czy uda wam się z licencją PKP ? Czy w będą wydawane inne trasy jako DLC ? Pozdrawiam i czekam na następne newsy z postępu prac.
Skąd takie informacje że twórcy Maszyny i TD się kłócą jeśli chodzi o simrail to będzie 500 km tras a DLC to będą pociągi i wagony
@@mateusz8148 To chyba nie śledzisz tych projektów. Maszyna ma strasznie toksyczne środowisko. Sam symulator to więcej siedzenia i konfigurowania niż przyjemności ze szlaku. A wszelkie zmiany torpedują prawdziwi "weterani" siedzący na pentium 4 i płaczący żeby nic nowego nie dawać już bo im się zacina ciągle.

@@SimRail_official Jest jakakolwiek szansa na trasę Warszawa-Poznań w przyszłości? Pytam przez pryzmat tego, iż na tej trasie znajduje się miasto w którym mieszkam (Konin) i miło byłoby kiedyś te miasto w grze zobaczyć. Swoją drogą polecam zainteresować się tutejszą koleją KWB Konin. Jak nie trudno się domyślić, trasy prowadzą bezpośrednio z kopalni do elektrowni. Myślę że koleje naszych kopalni węgla brunatnego są o tyle ciekawe, że są obsługiwane przez wiekowe już NRD'owskie elektrowozy "LEW EL2" (popularnie zwanymi "Krokodylami"), gdzie jest to o tyle wyjątkowe, że służą one tutaj jako jedne z nielicznych na świecie i wykorzystują unikatowy w naszym kraju system telewizji przemysłowej. Mam nadzieję że komentarz zostanie przez kogoś przeczytany, oraz liczę i wierzę że SimRail okaże się solidną produkcją.
Hopefully we can get even more routes like Australia, Spain, South America and Italy.

500km of route... read into this, total length of rails 500km... double track down to 250km, sidings, stations etc... down to 50km...
Thats not alot is it? With modern high speed trains thats only 2 hours...
Hope this sim will run as smooth atleast as smooth as average aaa title (not fs 2020 and crysis remastered) and the developer does not money hungry like crappy dovetail games
This looks absolutely nice!!! It has a little feeling to Train Sim World 2 but absolutely different and the dispatcher mode sounds dope!! I'll look into this. I love train simulator
W końcu coś na co czekałem od lat symulator Polskich pociągów na wyższym poziomie niż maszyna( chociaż maszyna jest na wysokim poziomie), mam nadzieję że pojawią się takie loki jak gryffin.

Ill be honest, This looks really good, sure you might not currently have the best graphics in the industry (This is pre release footage after all), Im really hopeful for something nice, with the Multiplayer Advertised (which Im 95% sure Dovetail said that they were going to add Multiplayer to TSW1 when that game was in development). I look forward a lot to this simulator's development

nice to see poland getting some rail sim attention, not many exist with polish content included as standard (only ones i’m aware of is MaSzyna and train driver 2) so hopefully this is good! Will be following updates on this simulator too, good luck with it! :D

Obviously there's not much to go on here, but I do think the inclusion of multiplayer and steam locomotives could bring Dovetail some much-needed competition. I don't care about the graphics, if the simulation is polished and the content isn't overpriced then it should be a success. Shame we have to wait a year, though.

With a game that already looks so good, Imagine routes like London STP to Paris GDN split between the LGV Nord section and HS1 section.

@@lunareunlar A couple of years ago, Microsoft was looking at developing a train simulator with a kind of computer-generated scenery (so, in principle the whole world was included) but they dropped it. Now, it seems they diverted the project to make a flight simulator. Sadly, I think we're stuck with having to wait for someone to spend hours making a route and releasing it for €15+.
@@lunareunlar would be sick, but driving hours would be a concern, i realised that a few months ago when asking for the eurostar.
But like someone else said, splitting it up could work
There already was a project made, although I'm not sure if it was by Microsoft as mentioned or not. They did get the permission from Channel Tunnel management (whatever they're called now), and they were close to publishing it when shit happened. I think it was copyright or smth. Aside from the Tunnel itself, they did include CTRL too (or HS1 as it is now), not sure about LGV Nord though

To all entire people: This game is FIRST GAME WITH POLISH TRAIN !!11!1!!!! Train on right is "Pendolino" and EP 07-135 sounds like Polish too.
I always thought Pendolino's were Italian.

I don't think this game will compete with Train Sim World. Train Sim World 1 and 2 has better graphics thanks to the Unreal Engine 4. Also the system depth of SimRail will not reach that of TSW2.
@@konradskk6068 everything depends on developers, not only graphic engine. Unity and Unreal are similar solutions.

@@konradskk6068 well, as far as I know, main products from SimRail are professional simulators, and other training tools for rail companies in Poland. So even if graphic might not be that excellent like in TSW, psychic and trains behave should be much more realistic ;)

Jakie konkretnie linie są planowane na premierę i czy będą się pojawiały nowe?
W tej chwili wykonana jest m.in. trasa z Katowic do Warszawy przez Centralną Magistralę Kolejową (a więc możliwość jazdy z vmax = 200 km/h), jak i również odcinki towarowe (również historyczne). Baza tras będzie oczywiście stale rozwijana.

Just saw a rerun of the livestream on facebook, very impressive so far imo, looks like a very detailed simulation with alot of love put into it, i know its too early to ask and might be difficult to get into the game dew to licencing, but would love to see some American diesel locos for coal and oil runs especially with this detailed simulation model, but congrats to the developers so far on the great job, defiantly going to pick it up on release if it holds up to the promise of what's looking to be a very good simulation with good optimization

Cześć grałem w demo tej gry cięło. Dziś gram we wczesny dostęp, mi nie tnie a dodam że gram na laptopie, a ustawienia mam na wysoki. Grafika jest w dechę, pociąg prowadzi się dobrze. Podoba mi się ta gra i nie żałuję żadnego grosza na nią wydanego 👍, a to dopiero wczesny dostęp 🙂. Brawo Wy.
Jak ma się sprawa z robieniem dodatków i czy będzie edytor tras? Pytam się ponieważ konkurencyjny TSW nie miał tych rzeczy i nadal nie ma, przez co sporo traci. A szkoda by było nie oddać w ręce ludzi odpowiednich narzędzi. Ale raczej zdajecie sobie sprawę z tego że to wpłynie bardzo pozytywnie na wasz produkt.

A jak z trybem single player? Będzie dobrze rozwinięty (możliwość podmiany składu, ruch ai oraz spora ilość scenariuszy) czy może gra będzie się skupiała tylko na multi?

Gawd I hope not, especially not for current gen consoles! TSW{2) supporting current consoles has completely crippled it, pc's & next gen consoles are capable of way more but nope DTG had to support consoles which just turned train 'sim' World into train 'game'world! TSW is nothing but a game, it's not a sim at all.
If they do it then it will most likely be for the new generation consoles.
Finally a company who will revolutionize and make a real train sim.
Multiplayer has been seen in the Trainz series but it was each person just in a loco.
Actually having dispatchers, signal boxes and trains means you can literally simulate a functional railway.
Plus the detail and variety is a great start to the game which I hope will see lots of copies sold to where its not like dovetail where you have to have a 7 figure job to enjoy a good portion of the game

@@CrazyDash9 all you have to do is look at dtg past history which is well over a decade. Constantly over that said decade releasing unfinished work. They have never released a polished product. I stopped purchasing from them years ago because their work is money-grabbing. The amount of content released by them is huge, runs in the 1000's if you were to purchase it all on steam, however, they don't fix issues and just release the next pile of shite without addressing the other issues first. That, in itself, is money orientated and money-grabbing and to keep DTG shareholders happy.
Greed? No, I just want value for whatever I spend my money on, which evidently is not on bugged and broken sims, 100s have been spent by me over the years with DTG and before when DTG was called Rail Sim. And by looking at their newest release, the same problems still exist now. Their test team ignore issues and just roll out the next terrible juddering release. Don't forget about that piss poor flight sim they actually released. terrible terrible terrible work. They can't even keep their word regarding their own road map. 140 employees all pulling each other off rather than working, Look at SCS Software who do Euro Truck Sim 2 & USA Truck sim, that's how you engage and release your content, the effort they put in is fantastic. and they have around the same amount of employees too.
I have nearly 28 years of simming under my belt, with my first train sim nearly 19 years ago, so I know a thing or two about when I'm being ripped off for my money and when I'm not. They should be getting double the amount for their products, but they don't, why is that? because they know their product is poor.
