- Hello guys, in this video I bring you a comparison of the cinematics seen in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero and the anime of both Z and Super, if you like this kind of videos please like and comment on ideas for the next videos, I'm done working on the second part so expect it soon, enjoy the video.
- Hry
1:35 what is that hand XD I hope they fix it
LOL I realized this now, it looks like Vegeta has become a cuphead character
i hope they fix those trash effects
Also some of the characters look too skinny, like Vegeta
1:15 Vegeta’s face also looks derpy when smiling bcz his mouth is closed. Luckily everything we’ve seen is a old game build so hopefully everything is already fixed.
@@piratehunterzoro702 its actually opened, it's just super shiny
Sparking! Zero is also referencing the manga as well, not just the anime, and maybe other sources as well
I just can't get over the fact that the big explosions are just a lot of smaller explosions, with exactly the same animation, playing at the same time.
I wish we saw the dragon from the dragon first for longer
Bro this is dbz game I been waiting for 😅
been waiting for saga 2 🤡
EPICO
I've just realized what DBZ games are missing, the one thing to make them look like the actual anime... Reaction shots from the opponent taking heavy blasts. Just think about it guys, instead of just seeing the explosions, also seeing the opponent screaming in pain, looking desperate/in fear, etc.
That camara position on Vegetas hand in his red form looks weird
Lol you're right. That looks horrible 😂
Stupendo
It's great how accurate they stay to the source material
but not with the kaioken attack and meteor smash
Dbs: Super hero creams itself thinking they could try to be.
Did you find this yourself, or watch someone else?
Edit: This comment was supposed to be on a different video, I assume Autoplay messed things up.
Bro that’s wild 😅
Solo falta el soundtrack y ya esta a disfrutar al maximo
Magnificent
That Majin Vegeta looks kinda cursed, ngl.
Looks great but I prefer the simpler lines and more vibrant colors Super: Broly had. Comparison really is the thief of joy here.
NGL, Vegeta do be looking scuffed as heel in this game tho.
there should be a close up camera angle of your enemy's reaction taking a powerful blast.
im really hoping they fix god vegetas hand
Goku stance after doing finishing his ryouken move needs to be improved !!!!
They forgot to add bloody eyes on Majin Vegeta. Where's the facial veins in any transformations? Special vegeta goes SSJB. Sparking zero almost had it almost perfect i hope they update DSZ.
Homeboy on that super coffee for real calm down buddy.
Is it just me who thinks the explosion effects and smoke could be a bit better?
this game looks delicious
My eyes are bleeding 1:15 i can´t take it
Vegeta nooooo
Vegeta: yessssssssss 💥
Solo falta modear el Soundtrack por el de los Budokai y listo
1:14
Vegeta's been nerfed
Haven't seen such a disappointment since Watch Dogs lol
I hope Sparking Zero makes SSBE look how like how it did originally, the anime look of course
They have it as a power up
@@Martin-ug2pq but it doesn't look like how it was originally created
@@fortunelekoto6704 There are gameplay of SSBE, I dont know how it was orginally created
@@Martin-ug2pq I know the gameplay of SSBE is there, but it does not look like how it was originally created
and when I say originally created I am referring to how it originally looked in the anime, since SSBE was originaly an anime only creation made by the DBS anime producers as a way for Vegeta to keep up with Goku SSB-kaiokenx20, and then later when Toyotarou did the DBS manga version of the Tournament of Power arc, he also included SSBE, but the anime version of SSBE looks totally different from the manga SSBE
@@fortunelekoto6704wasnt anime only considering it showed up in the manga in the same arc
1:35 the game hand look longer and weird to me 🥴
What lack of blood doesn't do? Vegeta in the final explosion doesn't even seem like he's at his limit
I dont know but SSJ3 Goku still looks off to me. Something about the bulk, the hair and the Face just dont match. and the "eyebrows" are also off
1:21 A explosão ficou bem pequena comparada ao anime...
Esse golpe deveria ser maior e destruir todo o cenário.
i love the spirit bomb using the Super ver. but if avaible can we have a DBZ 1 love that much more
the two super spirit bombs are available, the one that he did on kid buu and the one he used on top
no worries
we got all the spirit bombs
saiyan, freeza, buu, and TOP sagas
You most definitely could have chosen a non-commentated over, non-world tournament residing Spirit Bomb clip. I know because I've seen them. Everything else is good lol.
How do these new Dragon Ball games look better than Super Hero?
Oh, you exaggerated, the Super Hero film is very beautiful, yes, and it has more use of 2D techniques and corrections on top, whereas in zero sparking, there is not much way to do this, as the camera is not fixed, so, they are fixed models that look good enough from most angles
They don't. They’re stylized differently in a way that delivers quick bursts of high feedback, giving the Tiktok brain the dopamine rush that presumes this indicates superiority.
In reality, if a full DB movie were animated in this fashion -overabundance of effects and all- it would quickly become exhausting and lose the audience’s investment in the same way recent Marvel films have.
No where near super hero fam
It doesn't look better than superhero
@@bmackley9805 that final masenko scene craps on everything we have seen in this game
I still done like sparking zeros super siayan 3.
He looks too thin
Nanooooo
Bro does skinny necks are horrible
Why are they so scrawny dude
Si esta la tecnica que le hace a Janemba gordo es porque posiblemente este Janemba gordo como personaje
Just another arena brawler.
Gt캐릭은 언제 나오냐
I really would love an DBZ Abriged Audio version... i want hear Vegeta Screaming at his Final Explosion move "VEGETA! YEES!!!" XD

This has very little merit, as the things being highlighted here are all automated cutscenes, which the player just activates with the press of a button at the right time.... And then sits back and watches, for 5 or 10 seconds. It's akin to the _rock-paper-scissors_ cutscene mechanics from Budokai 3, which journalists found great at first, but a few months down the line, players got fed up with, as those weren't something players were *actually* doing. Ultimately those cutscenes only served to bring a halt to the more immersive parts of the gameplay -- the individualized, decision-dependent move-units the player makes -- and like QTEs, after you've seen those twice, there's not much else to see.
It would be much much better (like, a true *quantum leap* in terms of gameplay excellence) to have the player be able to execute many of these scenes from the anime by stringing together individualized moves, positioning themselves on the arena with lighting-fast dashes of their own, and basically making their own combos with very granular moves, and having ultimates also be much more "customizable" while preparing/doing them, in a mix of _Super Dragon Ball Z_ (PS2) and _Destrega_ (PS1) .
20yr old games like *Zone of the Enders 2* allow for such a level of precise movement, and for the fluid mixture of so many different moves that, if those were translated into a DBZ game (and added a more refined combo/ movement stringing system on top of it), it would provide a much more advanced, immersive, interesting and memorable experience.
Thus far, the thing that this game is selling the most is *graphics.* Not improvements to gameplay; not a more immersive and dynamic camera work, and certainly not better physics. In the gameplay department, it is just as janky as Raging Blast 2, and while that is not bad (Raging Blast 2 wasn't that janky -- although, yes, it did have _some_ jank) it certainly isn't great, as we've had better analogous experiences in the past, in games like those I mentioned above. And while games like those aren't DBZ games that fully execute the "DBZ experience", they excel at executing individual *elements* from such "DBZ experience". And when it's been 2 literal decades, it's time to also go into the past, and resurrect forgotten elements, and integrate them into a present day experience.
It's called dramatic moments
You can also argue fighterz did the same thing lmao
Yeah, I can see where you're coming from somewhat
This is very true. But one of the reasons why it is selling at graphics and not gameplay is because people are complaining more about the aesthetics of the game, rather than the gameplay and mechanics.
With one of the reasons for that being that they are afraid that changing the state of the game, especially at a big scale like that, could come with unprecedented flaws that the fans might dislike.
But one obvious reason(and the most likely) is that there aren't enough people like you who's voicing out this idea. Because the game developers are working hard to make the best game for people to play, which would, in turn, make them more money.
超3のジャネンバ戦の技さぁ、最後そのまま下に突っ込めよ。マジで余計な改悪やめてくれ。
Why the game have such dark hair always. I want it bright like show
My biggest fear with this game is might have to much cinematic scenes in a fight for me. Coming from a dbfz player
Coming from a BT series player, the cinematics are what make the franchise
Dragon ball fighterz is animated even better
fighterz is 2.5d not 3d of course it's animated better
@@ThunderWolfUEyou are just too jealous
@@lukasporubsky3294 where is the jealousy, arc system literally makes their games look 2d with 3d models and make sure their models are as flexible as possible to give a 2d animation feel, ofcourse its going to be animated better because thats the point
Bro acting like the gameplay is better also the animation is the same as dbs and came out 2016 y’all acting like these games came out today bruh even my cousin don’t like it and stupid fighters can’t even fly
Wow this is lame lol comparing a game to an anime😂
Very far from the anime.
Is it me or the game looks better than the anime
It is you
Sometimes yes Sometimes no
I just gotta ask, who elected the guy behind the Broly Movies art style to completely redefine what Dragon Ball looks like? If they ran a poll I bet you 99% of fans would have said Late Z looked the best.
Like 1:16 is just comical. That is *NOT* Majin Vegeta on the left. His muscles are less than half the size.
Z is always preferred. But anything less than Z doesn’t mean it’s bad, imo. It still looks good to me
They probably couldn’t get the animators, who knows?
DBS Broly movie is closer to Toriyama's style than DBZ lol
Ugh shut up 🙄
@@CorelUser You should probably know that Toriyamas art style has changed multiple times over the course of his career before you start fact checking people like an arrogant redditor.
Because of that one transformation from the Broly movie, every SSJ transform animation now has rounded eyes... 😮💨
It’s called shintani art style for a reason and it’s the most beloved art style in all of super so yea. And seeing as sparking zero is trying to copy shintani art style into a game of course it would follow the same facial features.
@@piratehunterzoro702 Problem is: this animation was made for SSG who has round eyes by himself, as opposed to the rectangular ones of a SSJ1-3.
@@turbotrup96 Shintani is meant to mix two different art style’s the old and modern one, it was never meant for ssg alone.
@@piratehunterzoro702 show me at what point did he make rectangular eyes round. As I've said, he only did this for that one specific moment
@@turbotrup96 They all have a slight roundish curve to them especially goku and gogeta. Its especially noticeable when they are in action you’ll notice one part or another rounded off instead of z where it use to be straight lines and that’s part of the modern aspect they mixed in.
almost everything in Sparking Zero is superior.
1:15 derpy face 1:35 extremely skinny ugly hand
This is a old build of sparking zero but to say everything sparking zero, is superior is either blindness or exaggeration. Especially when you see how bad a lot of the effects of ki look around the body when doing ultimate’s.
@@piratehunterzoro702 Personell opinion not allowed i guess.
btw .. i said almost.
@@NoCommentaryGamer Sorry it’s just from the footage we’ve seen that people got hands on there’s a lot that doesn’t look good but I won’t lie there’s are good moments in SP. Like SSB Kaioken looks amazing and the aura’s when out of cutscenes.
Looks like shit because developer literally doesn't know how camera should work
The ssj3 is ugly, i hope they'll fix it. Look at how he looks good in the anime
The anime will always be better than the game imo
False
False
Idk what do you mean by that. I don't think you could compare a game to its anime counterpart, just cuz they are two different media with different purposes
Totally disagree
@@arles1999 that's true
dbfighers still has a better animation style in my opinion
