Having a what-if creator is both intriguing and kind of dread inducing. Looking forward to all the 'Goku trapped and betrayed in the Time Chamber' user made what-ifs.
Firstly, that "what if" is already debunked
Secondly, I doubt that would actually happen
The only way goku could be trapped in the htc is if the injure him and leave him for death. That just kills him because he starves to death

I completely agree. I love gradual unlocks. Hell, I play lots of classic RPGs. Those games are basically all gradual gratification instead of instant. I remember Smash Ultimate getting a lot of flak because you had to unlock the character. People screamed about "But muh competitive play". Nah, I'm glad that game stuck with classic unlocking.

I grew up with that old fashioned way, of unlocking stuff in games.
It's always a great time collecting everything and being satisfied seeing your all hard work completed.
On the one hand I love gradually unlocking things but on the other the characters I most want to play are Kale, Caulifla, Kefla, Rosé, Zamasu, and Fused Zamasu so it might take a while for me to get them and idk who I want to play until then
Unlocking characters is cool, I'm just so terrified of the possibility the game will be monetized and they'll pull some dumb shit like making gogeta and broly preorder exclusive
@@user-kb7be2jt7u Well they phase Gogeta and Broly as early unlock, so you'd get them regardless even if you don't preorder the game. You just need to unlock them by playing the game until that point of the story, instead of getting them upon purchase.

The game looks way too good to be true. Im so scared there is going to be something scummy in the game. Its a childhood dream come true so far.
Wait for DLCs to ruin it all.. And no unlocking costumes through playing the game, all in the shop and spend that $$$
Only problem i have it's with size of ki blast they look really small.
Probably the effects kinda blurring movements and making the game hard to look at when at a high level. Also some of the animation looks kinda choppy ngl, at least for the game releasing so soon.

Even if that's a bit disapointing welp at least we can bully each other
I know it's unlikely but I hope I can create a what if similar to fateful brothers in Tenkaichi 2 that was always my favorite what if in a Dragon ball game.

That dlc system is looking realy nice, 7 names (characters and forms) in one dlc, thats a whole goku(end) right there, good that they didnt go for the xenoverse 3 names per DLC, makes every dlc drop a big addition to the roster.
Not sure why they went daima so early cause that wont sell but as long as we get super saiyen 4 later im very happy.
and since gohan and piccolo are already in the base roster, their new forms plus the gammas and cell max, and possibly pan that's already 6. Thats kinda crazy, I wonder who else they're gonna add for superhero. Possibly Dr. Hedo?

Hey KaDazee, did you know that the Ruined Earth stage in BT3 apparently counts as a nighttime stage? I was fighting Nappa on that stage once, and he was able to transform into a Great Ape. It also doesn't seem to matter what time of day the stage was before it gets destroyed, either...
If I remember correctly, can’t nappa create an artificial moon like vegeta or are you saying that he looked at a moon on the stage and transformed?
@@darkside6101 He looked at the moon. The only playable characters in BT3 that can create a fake moon are Vegeta (Scouter), King Vegeta, and Turles.
@@Smithkakarot turtles?! That crazy considering that he was considered a “low level saiyan” or whatever the low ranks were called but nappa was considered one of the best because he actually talked as an oozaru from what I remember but I’ll have to check again. That’s insane.

I know you mentioned the destruction physics with the great ape, but i would've loved the specification about his punch moving the debris. Its just such a good detail

I could see the clashing blows being a button mash, while the beam clash is the weird Budokai 3 build power type of clash during super attacks.

A quick things about split screen : the split is only one hyperbolic chamber MAP because split requires A LOT of power capacity and the chamber is ( for now ) the only map where it can be used due to the fact it's just a white room with a little building
Can you talk about the special poses that characters make in the gameplay trailers and in the demo when they charge all of their ki?
One example is SSJ Goku (Mid), who makes the "Now im mad, Frieza!" pose and then he uses his stance.

Edit: Some characters have the same generic charge pose (i don't know of they're gonna stay like that, these could also be placeholders) while others, like Krillin, have a completely different one.

I figured out who the mystery character is, if anything it's so obvious. It's Fu.
Why? One of the games biggest selling points is what if alternative histories and the ability for users to also make their own brand new what ifs and share them online.
Fu is the literal embodiment of this.

A small detail that you missed
If you look closely at the right rock formation. When vegeta punches the rocks that are in the air from the hit actually collide with his punch and move forward

The what ifs could go so crazy like:
-SSJ God vs SSJ4
-If Goku used SSJ3 against majin vegeta
-If trunks unlocked SSJ2 before gohan in the cell saga
-If Goku died to freeza and Gohan became the first super saiyan or idk krillin goes super monk.
- SSJ5??( it would be like that time when SSJ3 Broly was made playable)
- SSJ4 Vegito

Btw to answer your question, they ARE gonna be adding back the analog stick minigame for the clash mechanic since I've seen early footage gameplay from the summer fest thing.
My two cents on the "share your own creations" part of the Sparking Zero site: I honestly dont get where people get that this will be some sort of "what-if story sandbox builder". That section doesn't even use the phrase "What-if". To me its more likely that it will just be an additional way to share the matches you play. In BT3 (and maybe others- Ive only played 3 though) you could view and save match replays. I think there will now just be an extra option, "upload", that lets you upload your replay so other users can watch your matches too. Maybe even giving the option to fight the same battle (given the characters have their own custom loadouts and such).
That being said- if there really was a "create your own story" mode- where you can set up fights with custom cutscenes, that would be amazing. But with as many characters as sparking zero has (184+ now because of the 3 confirmed dlc packs) that would be Soooooooooo many possibilities to code, that I just cant see it being feasible.
I can only think think the mystery character would be General rildo Jackie chun or maybe even beelzebub from sandland if arale can got in tenkaichi 3 why not beelzebub

1:38 I haven't seen anyone talk about this shot. Why is Frieza's aura here blue? Will that be customizable like in previous games?
It's just an effect, not an actual aura, similar to wind blowing upwards. His aura could be costunizable however this seems like a hyper tense mode when you overcharge your ki for an ultimate attack.

Small correction. The 20+ DLC characters are only from SH and Daima. So all 3 packs will be split between SH and Daima characters.
I was expecting the release date to be sometime next year, so this is an amazing surprise! I'm so glad that they're trying to keep a lot of the aspects from the original BT series. This is gonna be so damn fun😤😤

I like the way the what if's are being handled, choices that you make that lead to different conclusions and such, some people still think it would allow for stuff like "OMG GOGETA SSJ4 IN THE FREEZA SAGA" like how would a simple choice even lead to that

the couch coop is only in the time chamber because it would be to taxing on the system to have coop on other stages because you can break stuff on other stages
We had a what-if saga in BT3, and im glad its coming back in Sparking Zero.
Honestly when they give us outfits and stuff for the characters I hope the give Goku(super) his farmer outfit. Imagine being super saiyan blue with farmer clothes. Or ultra instinct but just the farmer pants.
You have to hold the square button when you do the dash attack and then you will give a hit that will knock your enemy far away, then you can give the vanishing knock back moves
Unlocking characters will be cool and everything in this game is going to be lit. Mystery character will be android 21, beast gohan, and etc.

@kadazee i noticed something just now playing bt3 at the beginning of the match i can move around before the timer goes. But in the world tournament stage you can't till the timer says go. I thought it was a neat little detail.

I think what they meant by "exclusively in The Hyperbolic Time Chamber" was that it was a option on the menu.
