He choose to reject God who is only good and worship evil by sin instead and now he is in void of all pleasure. He didn’t want peace, he sought to be touched by Satan and he was. Satan never loved him, he used him to exact revenge on the humans that are made in the image of God. This man wasn’t crazy or confused he choose evil and believed lies he wanted to believe while choosing to reject the truth. All of this killers nightmares will now come to pass as he will eternally be alone void of ALL good and without control. Satan doesn’t get to torture people in the afterlife, he has no control there. However, he is allowed to be the prince of this world, this is, according to scripture, during our lifetime, if we submit and surrender to him, instead of Jesus. See John. Everyone gets a choice as to what god they will serve, some reject only good God while calling their choice of evil god but that will only get them the destination of Hell. Hell isn’t based on our behavior it’s based on who we submit and surrender to. A Christian can struggle with sins from gluttony to even rage while actively turning to God and praying for help and go to heaven as they draw nearer to God forgiven if they truly accept Jesus and repent, but there are other people who genuinely make their own god as they reject Jesus, and choose hell worshiping Satan daily with chosen sinful compromise and a living for self that’s worse than just selfish, it’s evidence of an individual aligned with evil.

One of Richards childhood close friend from El Paso described him as having a good heart, a sweet boy, a calm one and he was always smiling and being energetic. He told a story saying that one time his neighbour “a girl” started hitting Richie and fighting him when they were little, Richie didn’t do anything back and his friend asked him why didn’t you hit her back, he said: Because I love her, I can’t hit her. He was never born evil, He was a lost soul, lost into the darkness with nobody caring to save him. He had a traumatic childhood besides him suffering continuous concoctions to his head which were never treated and that damaged his thinking and ability of emotions later on in life. Let’s not forget the acid and heavy drugs he started using and the impact the have on a person already ill. He lost hope in love and happiness and fell into the darkness.. May he rest in peace, I hope and pray in another life for him. Only God can judge him because only God knows what was really in his head and heart and what REALLY went through in his life. God loves all his creatures no matter what!

So Grace is with the children.
However there is evidence to suggest that certain brain scans reflect part of the brain (Amygdala) are very small or absent (determining empathy, fear etc). This doesn't necessarily make one to go out and kill, but I think if one is born this way, and you couple it with childhood trauma, these people would have a higher propensity to kill. classicarah Bundys killings were 10 year prior and he killed over several years. They didn’t even connect the killings until much later because he was killing across several states, thus not creating mass hysteria within one state. Ramirez was mostly infamous during that time because he was going ape shit in the same area, within a short time span. The most scariest serial killer though in my opinion was the East area Rapist/ original night stalker (Joe Deangelo). He was caught just 2 years ago. I recommend you looking him up. Far scarier than Ramirez or even Ted Bundy IMO. Not like it’s a competition though lol

I think Netflix was trying to tell the story from the Victim and the police's point of view. That the criminal here deserves no mercy or compassion at all because he did not show any to his victims.
He lost his status as a human being in my eyes when I found out what he did to the little six year old girl and the eight year old boy in front of the boy's mother. I no longer care where he came from or what he went through and I would gladly condemn him to live his nightmare childhood over and over again. He is a murderer and a rapist. Nothing excuses that.

But the thing is, since you know about this and this doc has been made, you can search these things yourself. People all over the world have awful childhoods... so many of them don’t start killing random people, raping, eating their food, vomiting on their belongings, and ejaculating onto their stuff. Yeah, he was raped and tortured as a kid. Doesn’t make it okay for him to steal the innocence of the children he chose to hurt. We all have a brain, we are all told from right and wrong in school. The director himself said he didn’t want to make excuses for him. There’s a good doc on HBO called “crazy, not insane” where they talk to a respected physiologist who has had conversations with murderers (Ted bundy, etc) a lot of these murderers experienced some type of abuse in their youth, and had developed DID... supposedly, but these are still people who knew what they were doing was wrong... that’s why they didn’t want to get caught. It would be completely different if they had turned themselves in. But there is no conscience for them. Ramirez was demonic.

I really believe it was the neurological and environmental factors that created the mindset for Richard Ramirez. The epilepsy, the constant verbal and physical abuse, the negative and often violent influences of his family, and his eventual downward spiral into drug addiction were the catalysts that created the perfect storm. His parents should have been arrested and he should've been in a loving home, but who knows if that would have changed things or not. What Ramirez did was beyond the pale and though you can feel empathy for the child, what he did as an adult was heinous, vile, and fully his responsibility.

Never before had I heard our dogs bark and yelp as they did that night. As I got out of bed and walked towards the back window of my bedroom, I paused and thought to myself " what if it's him out there". Then, said to myself "no way, this is Mission Viejo". I slid the window open and called out to our 3 dogs, shhhhhing them to quite down,;They finally did, and I closed the window and returned to bed. It was really unusually hot, and I was just trying to fall back asleep after this strange outburst from the dogs. The next morning I woke up to police and sheriff squad cars all the way up our street. The news stations were all out there too. It was "him". I will never forget that night. Don't believe these kind of people. How someone can connect to another person's spirit!!! As for Richard, he would say anything to become popular.

What's also interesting to me is the number of serial killers that were active at this time. There must have been close to a dozen. And also the ones that weren't caught.
Richard Ramirez, Richard Chase, Kenneth Bianki, Angelo Bono JR, Roy Norris, and Lawrence Bittecker, this happened in 79, William Bonnin, Joseph DeAngelo, Randy Kraft, Lonnie Franklin grim Sleeper, Rodney Alcala, Samuel Little, Chester Turner, Hrrber Mullen he was killing a little earlier, and there are others. But this is enough

They should have named it something else. It’s misleading as fuck to call it “Night Stalker.” Smh
You can for sure tell hi story without “glorifying” him.

Not born evil but definitely created. His childhood....this is why it angers me so much people that have children, who are neglectful, abusive or have no money or that have psychological problems.....some people have no business having children, period. I blame his parents most of all....he was abused and neglected, never shown love or taken care of. He was 13 when his cousin Mike shot his wife in front of him. His parents should've protected him from all of that. And when his cousin committed murder in front of him, why wasn't he removed from this family and situation?

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING!! People really dont understand how trauma can lead somebody down such a terrible path and thats why I dont like this documentary, they paint him as satan incarnate but he was just a product of circumstances. He even said that himself in one of those short interviews. What he did was horrific there is no doubt about it and no excuse but the way the media portrays the people who need help is sickening. Even down to this documentary.

@@helin3494 , I believe the documentary is presented from the perspective from law enforcement, Californians, and victims' families. Its suppose to show the fear and horror that Ramirez created amongst the community. It showed why law enforcement had a hard time finding out that one man was robbing, raping, killing, and shooting. It showed the stress that Ramirez put a lot of people under for a year and few months. I believe they briefly touched on Ramirez's youth. But the documentary was more about the people of California, the police, and how Ramirez made them feel.

One of my friends was a gang member (pretty intimidating dude) who did time at San Quintin. He told me he was walking past Richards cell (or vice versa), and said this dude was not human; there was definitely something else that was there when you looked into his eyes.
