I had to double check, but the 2nd gen Morgan is NOT the one that's leaving. It's only the 1.5 Morgan horse that's leaving and they still had the starter horse body model. You can find that horse literally off the side by the little shop that's at the horse market, and the only one from that set I liked was the buckskin because of how nice the coat looked. Personally, I don't like the idea of Star Stable retiring the older horses, but I can't say I'm not surprised because I was low-key expecting this to eventually happen. I still remember when sso stated that the Fjord was leaving the game and because I couldn't buy one at the time, I now regret it deeply and basically make it my mission to buy at least one of the older horses I've had my eye on that's in the horse market. At least with the magic horses you know if you don't buy one this year, they'll be back next year--or at least as long as the game exist. But the horses in the horse market actually have a greater risk of not coming back. The whole situation just makes me sad tbh because it feels like they're pushing everything old out of the game to the point where everything that was a part of the game is now gone.
They did the same thing with the original tree horses ;-; It is sad, but I guess they need space in the game to keep making new horses which in the end they kind of have to.
I think SSO retires horses because the older horses make the game buggier, on multiple occasions, SSO has said that they need to remove horses and older items in general to make the game run better, which I completely understand but I also get where you're coming from, it is heartbreaking when you hear that the horses that basically made your childhood aren't available for purchase anymore.
I have found a love for the crusty horses, and I loved the old fjord and begged for sc, but I wasn’t able to buy it, and I hate the retirement too, it’s just trying to erase old memories in my opinion if you don’t have the horse? And it just makes me sad bc I love them so much now, and I don’t personally like the new models, they aren’t so good in my opinion, I just hope they realize this retirement crap isn’t helping, but when have they ever listened to us
You were looking at the wrong Morgan horse that was retired. You were looking at the generation 2 Morgan, but they’re retiring the generation 1.5 Morgan.
when i heard the pintabians were slowed, i was ecstatic! I so longed for champs to be made more fair. now, all i need is for star stable to remove the player level buff(cause late players cant get above level 20 anymore) to the horse, and then champs would be perfectly even across the board.
Actually I find this very unfair. I had an idea of a speed chart where there would be a chart in the your hs and we would have the horse breeds all different speeds and the pintabians being the fastest! The speed for player level thing is most likely not getting removed from the game since people have leveled up and worked a lot for this, it would simply just be unfair btw the groups r sorted out by level so g1 (group 1) being the highest leveled people which I find very fair. This might not be your POV but I find the level speed system an awesome thing in the game. It would just be annoying being the same speed as a fricking level 1
im so happy that they changed the speed for pintabians. i love doing champs but they were so boring because everyone has the exact same horse like i wanted to see some creativity!! plus it was ac really hard to win if u didnt use a pintabian even if you know all the short cuts, me n my paso fino Espresso were struggling

So I read the update and they only specified the 1.5 morgans leaving, not the gen 2 morgans. Generation 1.5 is the OLD model from the first few years of SSO. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding or they meant generation 2 morgans as well?

As someone who has been racing with a pintabian for almost the entire time I’ve been playing sso (like 5 years or something), the decrease needed to happen. They were too good in championships and I miss when I want to be able to ride any horse and win.
Now the fastest jorse is the old fjord if you don t have it buy a gen 2 morgan that has e slighty faster jump i would use the fjord for long races because it can t start fast and the morgan for short races of you don t have a fjord just use a morgan

the issue for me with the pintabians is that there are still horses that are faster, only now one of the top ones (potentially the fastest) is the old fjord. with the pintabian, anyone could buy it and it wasn’t that expensive, but the old fjord is a different story and gives older players even more of an advantage :’)

6:47 these are German style bridles. The noseband isn’t one actually it’s supposed to go over everything to keep the mouth closed as a flash. This is why it’s so low.

So it's my new understanding that the Morgan's retiring are the ones with the old starter horse model, and not the one's in this video (Klondike's model). They're retiring Morgan 1.5, the Lippy Gaited starter models, the "newer" Morgan horses are Gen 2, and are hence the current/updated model for the time being, so Klondike and her cousins will be around for a little while yet. I was a bit put off in thinking they weren't reducing the prices below 790sc for a horse they're retiring in like three weeks X'D

I'm actually surprised that they haven't updated the morgan considering how popular the breed was before generation 3 released. But at the same time I'm scared cause I know there's like two teams making horse models in sso and one of them are notoriously bad at making good models. Like we could either get a model like the terrible friesian or something like the haflinger, icelandic, AQH

btw there are gen 1 horses that are not and will not be fixed, but pop off for ruining another breed for the racers i guess 🙄

So it's my new understanding that the Morgan's retiring are the ones with the old starter horse model, and not the one's in this video (Klondike's model). They're retiring Morgan 1.5, the Lippy Gaited starter models, the "newer" Morgan horses are Gen 2, and are hence the current/updated model for the time being, so Klondike and her cousins will be around for a little while yet. I was a bit put off in thinking they weren't reducing the prices below 790sc for a horse they're retiring in like three weeks X'D

I'm actually surprised that they haven't updated the morgan considering how popular the breed was before generation 3 released. But at the same time I'm scared cause I know there's like two teams making horse models in sso and one of them are notoriously bad at making good models. Like we could either get a model like the terrible friesian or something like the haflinger, icelandic, AQH

so glad they changed pintabian speed because i was getting SO bored of riding my one, Hermes, around. he won my first ever gold ribbon like 4 years ago and i can finally retire him LOLL
Actually I find this very unfair. I had an idea of a speed chart where there would be a chart in the your hs and we would have the horse breeds all different speeds and the pintabians being the fastest! The speed for player level thing is most likely not getting removed from the game since people have leveled up and worked a lot for this, it would simply just be unfair btw the groups r sorted out by level so g1 (group 1) being the highest leveled people which I find very fair. This might not be your POV but I find the level speed system an awesome thing in the game. It would just be annoying being the same speed as a fricking level 1

Now the fastest horse is the old fjord if you don t have one you can use the gen 2 morgan (is just the gen 1.5 getting retired not the gen 2)

Wow pintabians were finally nerfed... FINALLY. I'm sure a lot of racers are infuriated right now. I race too, but it irked me to see people using pintabians every single race instead of trying out new things and playing with their favorite horses...
