  • The film "glas" is the last piece of my collaborative work with glass artist Jeremy Wintrebert.
We started in 2010 with a first project called "cloud" and then collaborated on 2 other short films and a feature documentary called "Heart of glass" released in 2016. This film was like closing the loop for me.
I wanted to do it to pay tribute to the material itself.
Letting the craftsman fade behind the fusion, the film invites to a hypnotic journey in the heart of its incandescence.
They were "the" meeting that changed my life, they accompanied me for six years in a most incredible adventure in the heart of creation.
In this film, the captivating voice of Clélia Vega states the characteristics of the glass while the images illustrate the key stages of the work of the glassmaker. The film is accompanied by a sound creation of CYESM inspired by Stanley Kubrick 2001.

Beautifully portrayed. Sublime camera work. Particularly sophisticated image editing. Sparkling colors. Glassblower poetry in images. It remains incomprehensible that pulp videos on CZcams are well viewed and that the real art of capturing and displaying images such as this video has hardly been viewed. Shame and very unfortunate. I certainly enjoyed it very much and watched it with great admiration. Every time I see glass blowers working I am blown away. Even after many years of seeing this beautiful craft and recording it on video for my CZcams channel, I can be enchanted every time by the magic of the hot glass and the skills of the glassblowers. I just can't get enough of hot glass. Glass blowing deserves more publicity and attention for this wonderfully beautiful craft. Thanks for sharing.
