Why was this not a number one hit. This is still good hard to believe it’s an old song. Love their new song More, but the more I listen to their older stuff, the more I’m convinced they don’t need outside collaboration. They are solid rockers.
@@f3ly-4rr0y0 She was 15 when she wrote it -- summer of 2015, when they were attending the five-week program at Berklee School of Music in Boston, and she had a homework assignment to write a song that she was drawing a blank on. The night before it was due, she was feeling homesick, and out poured this little gem.
And to think that I had stumbled onto this group YEARS ago, before I knew what an amazing band that they would become. It was the Crazy Train video when they were SO young. (the one where someone was adjusting Dany's mic stand for most of the song) I never made the connection until I saw a compilation of their progression through the years and what do you know? Those kids playing Ozzy in a park was THE WARNING! 😉 ❤

For me, The Warning is like The Beatles or The Police for other generations.

These lyrics hurt so much. I love the song. I love the message. So relatable. The best is when Dany does it live and acoustic. She will give a message in the middle of the song that is of hope and appreciation. I love this band so much!!!!!

Lacking inspiration hell that song is deserves to be a number one hit. I know good talent when I hear it and that is some damn good talent. Now that she’s on tour and has kind of polished her songs a little more she should do a re-recording that and put it on the album that song is fantastic and it’s the kind of song that reaches right into someone’s soul it makes them think about their life and sings along that is a rarity man that is top-of-the-line. I’ve been playing guitars and some keyboards all my life around Detroit couple of my friends went professional with some big names I’ve seen some pretty serious talent but I’ll tell you what she just blows me away.

What baffles me is a song like this, one that has substance and deeper meaning doesn't get airplay, yet anything by Taylor Swift is considered "music".
The Warning has more talent in their left pinky toes than Taylor Swift's entire body of work.

@@markcockerham646 I'm going to revise my statement about Taylor Swift. She's a very talented song writer and deserves a lot of credit, but from what I've heard she writes about exes and relationships gone bad. So does The Warning, but you're right...TW's songs hit differently.
Even though American radio is dying, they really screwed up when they decided not to feature The Warning in their rotations.
It's fine to be a fan but trying to disrespect and discredit other artists accomplishments and success to prop up the band isn't it. The girls don't need propped up with negativity, they are doing just fine on their own merits.

I don't think they're underrated. They are coming up inexorably, playing support to Muse, Guns n Roses, and having done a cover of "Enter Sandman" for the 25th anniversary of Metallica. Currently storming Europe, in their World Tour, having played to probably their biggest crowd yet at the Download Festival.
They're exciting the heart and soul of 63 years old men like myself, and playing places they never played before, like Germany n Holland where the crowd sings along to their songs, knowing all the words.
They'll very quickly be the best-known rock band in the world. Viva The Warning.
