Awesome Sean, I’m happy to hear a younger guy like you is enjoying it, and not too far away being on Long Island. My plan is to keep sharing and raising the bar of the projects gradually as we go along. Glad you’re a part of it, see you on the stream! Tom

Thanks Dave! Yes, we were very pleased, but I’m still waiting to hear how it rocks with an actual baby in it...still waiting for the newborns arrival 😎

    What a great idea. Thanks!
A soft, rich gloss seems somewhat akin to a satin luster. 😎 Beautiful cradle!

Thanks Jerry. Yes, it’s difficult to find just the right words to describe the sheen when you see it, we might say it’s indescribable! 😎But I do like satin luster. Given the simplicity of creating the results, it’s hard to beat.

Hi Tom, this session on the candles was great and the cradle was beautiful. There is a lot you can do with the candles. Like making center pieces and arranging them on a wood base of different shapes and types of wood.
Not sure if you saw my reply from last week. Thank you for looking up the distance from Wells, Vt. to Canterbury, NH. Someday I may take a trip to see the farm in Wells ,Vt and then head east to Canterbury, NH. to vist Kris and you.
See you next week on SNL.

Thanks Steve! Yes, I agree, there are so many great creative options with candles. I did see your response, you should let us know when you’re in the area so you can stop by for a visit. Have a great Christmas! Tom

Tom, would like to see the cradle build in an dedicated episode especially laying out and focusing on the splayed dovetail joinery, even interested in the build if you develop the plans as I'd enjoy making the heirloom project and challenge my skills.

Thanks Michael. Yes, I do think it would be a nice project build. I certainly enjoyed it. My friend just picked it up yesterday after giving it the final steel wool rubout and polish, it looked awesome. And the baby has still not arrived so we got it done in time too! I hope to work it in this coming year.
Thanks again, have a great Christmas! Tom
