The fact that you show how much you have to push in order to achieve the things you do is so inspiring because it’s too common because of the way perception works in our society tht people see people who have what they want and think their lives are perfect when in reality they have just been putting in WORK tht you probably don’t see.. well I see you! You’re killing it!!

I’m so happy you were able to continue doing a Nutcracker! I love being able to watch your videos every year as they inspire me so much! As a senior in high school, I face the thought that this might be my last nutcracker, but your video gives me hope that it still possible to do it in the future!
Thank you for being honest about how hard you are on yourself! I have a 13 y/o daughter who is a competitive Scottish Highland dancer and a complete perfectionist. Sometimes, as a parent, it’s hard to understand why she is SO hard on herself. You express yourself in a way that is easier for me to be able to comfort yet still motivate her. Thank you!!!

I hope that you remember throughout this experience that ballet is THE hardest to do and perfect in the world of dance! To do pointe on top of it just adds so many layers! Be proud of what you can do no matter what. It’s not an easy journey yet you still handle it with so much grace. You’re a true ballerina 💕

i started dancing ballet one month ago and i am 22... i am following my old dream of being a ballet dancer. i am aware i will never be one, but it is still amazing to go for a balle class and be part of this magical world. your videos make feel even more magical

OMG this is literally my dream! I’m 23 and I’ve always wanted to do ballet I just never had the opportunity growing up. It’s also hard when you don’t have a car and there’s not really local things around in your small town but I’m hoping that I get to start one day 🥺😭 I know you both are beautiful and are doing amazing!

Honestly any type of dance can really affect someone mental health, from body image to just not feeling good enough. Ballet can take a toll on your mental health so just remember to be kind fair and kind to yourself!💕

I remember when I was a teeny tiny little girl my wish was to be a ballerina. I had a music box that I treasured that had a little ballerina spinning/twirling. Well I just turned 61yo (but I’m still very lively - dance around the house all the time!) Dec 4 and I was never a ballet dancer but have never lost my love for it. I adore watching and never tire of the beauty, strength, courage… it takes to make a dance come alive. This was so much fun to watch. You are exquisite. I’ve subscribed so look forward to your next video❣️

ballet is so hard, there are somedays when we can't do anything at all on rehearsals and class and it's so frustrating, but i think its part of the process... seeing progress, even little by little is what makes it so exciting. 💕

i live for ur nutcracker vlogs, ive been rewatching last years one so many times! this one is so… relatable? all the things u feel about auditioning and remembering why u quit is so relatable. ive had a knee injury for the past three years and it has downed my confidence so much and i always use it now as an excuse for performing badly which i hate. but yeah anyway looking forward to ur next videos!!!

I completely understand what you mean, when you get embarrassed when others see you doing bad and it just makes you want to work harder. That is me too. But know that it was only the few days of rehearsals and not everything is going to be perfect right away. It takes time. :)

Can I just say, that as a mom- you’re doing a great job, and it’s nice for for kids to see that it’s ok to struggle- but if you keep working you will get there- you don’t give up. I may not agree with all your views on things but love your videos- when I was young I would have loved to take ballet.
