    My Beautiful Queen I used your method this morning, (Yes I have a very early appt.) and it worked. I even rotated my thumb on my strands. I pulled the shed hair through to the bottom with my fingers and it worked! I lost very little hair and my strands are fragile and thin. Game changer! I can't tell you how much hair I've lost with combs, brushes and trying to pull matted hair apart. If a strand was reluctant to come apart I moisturized moved on. I checked on a few strand later and the knots were gone. My stretched hair is nearly breast length and I think with your fabulous techniques I will reach my hair goals. Thank you for allowing me to give myself the best Christmas gift ever,... tangle free hair.

This is why I hate when people push what works for them as a MUST for everyone. That’s just not true. We are all individuals, and as such, we are unique. What works for you may not work for me. yes yes yes yes yes thank you so much for posting I literally got my hair grease the same one as yours the palmers oil one and started moisturizing my hair too lol and can I say thank you for teaching us in your videos and going more in depth in this one how to finger detangle since I have basically watched all your videos and now understood that finger detangling takes patience and time its super easy it does take me a gazillion minute to finish my wash day or moisturize my hair but your so right its so worth it; whoever invented combs probably was to lazy or didn't know how to finger detangle lol not saying they were bad to invent it I'm super grateful for the invention but watching you made me come to a conclusion that combs sometimes leads to breakage which you said in one of your videos that when you stopped using combs your hair basically thanked you for it (you didn't exactly say your hair thanked you I just put that not trying to put words in your mouth ) anyway I know I always go on and on lol ima just leave and not make this any longer then it is but really thank you for posting amazing content I cant wait for your next one and to see how long your hair grew from this challenge so excited

    There’s this CZcamsr named Eugenia Kelcy who has type 4c hair that is the same length as yours. She achieved it by using natural products she made. She now sells them, including the clay you were talking about. But yeah, she’s uses all natural ingredients 100% vegan. I think she only uses like 4/5 ingredients in each of her products. That could be an option to look out since you mentioned you were wanting to look in to more natural products. You can just search her here on CZcams by her name, and her hair line is called KCurlsys!

    My hair is currently in a braid out so I can’t do anything to it but I screamed when you talked about the thumb method. Idk what it is but there is something magical about finger detangling with your thumb like my hair can so tangled and my thumb just goes through it. I’m definitely going to follow this tutorial next time because I want to try to use combs/brushes less and practice more with my fingers because I used to despise finger detangling only to find out I was doing it wrong 💀 Thanks so much for this video ur doing amazing and I’m happy that you’ve been uploading back to back ❤️❤️❤️

    I'm not sure about shampoos but ecoslay deep conditioner is very natural and fabulous. Very moisturising. She has some other products including a shampoo all have few ingredients very natural and from what I have heard also very good. As I said I've only used the deep conditioner which was soooo good.

    I finger detangle the same way. Roots to ends. With a slippery product or pre poo, the tangled shed hairs just slice out like butter. Squeeze out and mix up excess product and put on the rest of my hair. So satisfying! 😂

    Do you spray water on your hair before the products ? I've heard if you don't it's sealing in dryness..is that true ?

    • @NaturalAcademia
      @NaturalAcademia  Před 3 lety +3

      I don’t believe that is completely true. I never apply water to my hair when I am moisturizing, I feel like it dries out my hair.

    My hair doesn't like liquid shampoos. My hair be feeling stiff like straw.Its curly and wavy. I get knots easily. I started using shampoo bars because I was curious. My hair loves, loves, loves certain shampoo bars. To name a few SheaMoisture Clay Bar Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthening, and SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Clay Shampoo Bar were the first ones I tried and liked.Then I decided to go outside the box and buy something different when I was unable to find the sheamoisture brand. I purchased Dead Sea Sulfur Soap. My hair loves this even more than the sheamoisture. It leaves my hair and scalp clean and moisturized. I use herbal essences hello hydration afterwards. Those two are a perfect combination, for my hair anyways..
