That's what I've been thinking ever since I saw the Cybertruck in person lol. It's so futuristic that even my Model Y seems bubbly lol. I need the Cybertruck asap 😂

Well taking into account inflation yes the 49k is now ~60k so yes.

Yes inflation does play a role. The base from 2019 at $39k should be around $47k, the mid level from $49k should be around $59k, and the top trim from $69k should be around $83k (Based on the CPI inflation calculate from the BLS). But Tesla has each trim much higher.
Tesla obviously sees the crazy demand the Cybertruck and has priced each trim much higher. This is smart on Tesla's end because it's a no brainer to make this extra money from people willing to pay for it. I estimate that it will be roughly 8-14 months before we see any price shifts to the downside. But then again we do not know for certain. It could never drop if they don't want the Cybertruck to cannibalize the other models.

Not in Australia, we were on the assumption that the Tesla Model 3 was going to be $35k but try $80k in Oz. (That's our fault though, we still have import duties and our dollar sucks against the greenback)

Dang, hopefully the prices will come down over there like how they have this past year in the US
