9:00 rubberized outer rim of wheel covers are required to take rough terrain hits off road. Very good idea, they either flex or break or you need to remove them.

On their order page they have accesories . My favorits are the cybertent and the lightbar that can light up 500 yards ahead. This will be the ultimate camping car too !
Very good video and with some of my favourite people in the EV's realm. Of course Sandy Munro would get a special car just for himself. He and his company Lean Design, has become a very big player on the customer side of electric cars and their analyze of various components and systems on each car is second to none. I am looking forward to seeing the factory tour you got.

I saw a clip of you inside it last night, and couldn't wait to see PJ's video of it. Steering by wire is intriguing. As an engineer, Sandy will be able to thoroughly analyze the nitty-gritty. I will be most interested to hear the reactions of Sandy's wife, whose daily driver is their Rivian. Hope you had a fun time. Looking forward to your followup video.

Already saw they removed it as it is too heavy to close the gate. No ramp feature anymore.

I’d like to see a smaller Cybertruck
Me to, smaller by 10%, lfp pack, rwd only with 350hp about maverick sized. Price it 35-40k all in and with the tax credit it would sell hundreds of thousands easily.
@@4literv6 Tesla wouldnt make a profit at $35k - $40k. Especially on a brand new platform
@@Natak222 smaller pack, less wiring, materials, smaller cheaper suspension, motor setup etc.
I think they could do it. Or build it on the m3&Y platform ala Honda Ridgeline and the maverick is built on a non truck chassis. 🤔

What does Power Feed Roof and Power Feed Frunk mean?? Solar inputs??
Is there no sensor to stop front bonnet while closing if there is someone? If not then it is serious issue especially for kids. 😢

That's the second time I saw on demo truck that it was almost a person get hit or decapitated by a trunk cover, engineers had to program that actuator so that if there was a resistance, it would backup or stop, and they had to show it on a demo film or someone's head or neck is going on news!
Kim FYI i received an email direct from Tesla November 30 at 6pm to place my Cybertruck order , not reservation. i have a RN number from november 2019 at lauch party . There is a future deposit $$$ amount required to advance to the actual order form options. I'll keep Kim Java posted on the delivery date .

Does the Cybertruck have a 48 volt battery and if so where is it located? Also, will a magnet stick to the special steel?
Steel isn’t magnetic, does have 48 volt low voltage architecture, 800 volt high voltage architecture.

@@1ronEntertainment Brandon from Tesla Flex confirmed in his video the Cybertruck is magnetic. His phone with a mag case is stuck to the truck at 13:43 in the video.

That vehicle is horrendous.
It's so weird that people even mention panel gaps. Like what's the deal with it. I get it if they are uneven or something but they aren't. Imagine going to showroom and dealer says "we have 440mile range, 0-60 2.6s...
And the customer is like "screw that show me the panel gap measurements." Btw Kim is gorgeous.
It demonstrates build quality
that metal is special . As Elon said, " you cant stamp this metal, it would break the machine". It cant be bent. So certain gaps or metal "curving" isnt going to happen
It only can't be stamped because of the thickness. It isn't some magical metal. It is a variation of 300 series stainless. Slight changes in alloy formulation for a specific puroose are common.

does the back gate fold down and becomes a ramp to enter the rear compartment. Like the first view and the atv riding up in the rear compartment

The fronk looks perfect to sit down and relax
The only thing that worries me is the distance from steering sitting position to the front. It looks to be a mile away. No one seems to be saying anything about it though so I don’t know. Seems like a ton of blind spots around the A pillar and wondering where your front bumper is. I’d have to sit in one I guess.

The forward fins when the frunk is open seem superfluous. I’m surprised Franz didn’t incorporate those into the bonnet.

Seeing the size of the second row I wonder if this design will be what they would use for a 3 row suv!
There a reason why almost no cars use stainless steel, it's heavy and hard to repair when needed. Only the Delorean used it
Also not great for crash safety as it is too rigid. Will be interesting to see if they do a crash test with it and how it does in the test.

What's really interesting is that in the EU and Australia a front continuous light bar is illegal.
The truck can’t be sold In the EU as it breaches many safety regulations, the light bar is an easy one to fix, drive by wire is definitely not an easy fix. There would be little chance of a pedestrian surviving being hit by a Cybertruck.
@sandyfordd1843 There would be little chance of a pedestrian surviving being hit by any truck. The front of the Cybertruck is lower than others, and that makes a huge difference.
