A used M&P Sport Gen1 passed thru your guys's shop about 5 years ago, I picked it up for 400ish. Even had some painted quadrails on it. There's still good deals out there!
Really wish I could use eotechs but I have astigmatism. Went with a trijicon TR24 1-4x with the red triangle reticle with ADM QD mount. Usually use it on 1x

I don't have a lot of experience with a variety of scopes or long range shooting. I've always liked Vortex for the money and there's a lot of 2nd hand options at affordable prices. Plus lifetime warranty

Don’t be afraid to pull a barrel or install one. I did my first one using CZcams and a Tq wrench. Super simple

Eotechs and other red dots are nice but I know not everyone can use them. Etched reticle options are a great choice though!

I got a Nordic in 2015 before they stopped making rifles and just make mag extensions for the 1301. Runs like a champ.
A $1,500 build should be as good as a $2,200 rifle off the shelf technically better

theyre expensive as shit but ive been getting LMTs recently and not going to lie, i dont ever think ill get another brand.
LMT is all you need, there’s other great brands but once you stick to one it’s hard to switch especially when it’s never failed you
I do have a couple LMT‘s. I really enjoy them. I don’t have one of their piston rifles yet though.
