Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS): Result of compression or irritation of the brachial plexus which is a complex network of nerves in the upper body.
Three main sites of compression or irritation.
    1) Interscalene Triangle: Between anterior scalene, middle scalene muscle and medial surface of first rib inferiorly.
    2) Behind clavicle in Costoclavicular Space.
    3) Subcoracoid Space in the angle between pec minor tendon and where it attaches to coracoid process.
Symptoms: Pain. Paresthesia. Weakness. Muscle atrophy in upper limb.
Cervical Radiculopathy: Result of irritation and/or compression of nerve root as it exits cervical spine. C6 and C7 roots are most commonly involved. Can be a significant cause of neck pain, upper extremity pain and disability. Pain is a common presenting symptom and may be accompanied by numbness, tingling, burning pain and weakness in areas innervated by the affected cervical nerve root. Long standing cases can lead to muscle atrophy.
