- Following the Angels second rain delay of the game, a goose made its way onto the field. Unfortunately for the bird, what followed was not very pleasant (Update, the goose was fine. It was taken out of the stadium and released in good condition) #FOXSports

He might have been able to get out of the stadium if he wasn't constantly chased around and if he had a chance to rest.
A Canada Goose can fly several hundred miles in day (up to 1,500 if they have a tailwind and are flying in formation during migration)...pretty sure the fact you're anthropomorphizing them isn't based in any fact other than you get tired walking to the mailbox, so thus it must be tired flying maybe 1/4 mile in the stadium. Canada's are tough customers, they definitely don't need rest after that "episode".
@@jeremybell1607 Take off is a very demanding event, however, and flying out of a stadium is not a normal task for a Canada goose. The noise from the stadium's speakers, the people making noise, and the lighting from the stadium had to have scared this bird a bit. In fact, if he had been able to accurately ascertain where that barrier was by having a reasonable fear of it sooner, it may have turned out differently. Accurate identification is not necessarily unconscious projection or inaccurate attribution. But yea, you're probably right. I'm anthropomorphizing a bit and don't fully understand about their flight and intentions.
