After changing the alignment settings (see yesterday's video), we took out the Supra on the track. Get in touch with me on social: / mgcharoudin / m.g.charoudin
Ah, the differences between making a car great on track and comfortable on the road. The everlasting conundrum of the sports car manufacturers. Great video! Good quality and not much shaking with the new go pro.
Yup, i thinks the sound is perfect. Not to loud, not to silent, not to high pitched, but also not droning. You can hear, what the engine is doing, but it will never annoy you. The perfect sound for long drives on country roads.
@@skrlaviolette really? I can't really listen to this engine.. I guess somewhere from 3500/4000 going up to 5500 or 6000 I really think the sound is artificial and NOT NICE AT ALL!
I am glad to see that Robert has the ability to "feel" how the car is handling and knows what is going to be required to settle the car down a little bit. Most people wouldn't know if the reaction of the car was from weight transfer or poor setup. Looking forward to seeing a lap in the car once the new suspension is installed.
Refreshing to have two guys who actually know cars comment on the Supra!! So cool watching you do a quick lap around the track passing everything in sight in the rain while comely discussing the handling of the car as if you were out for a Sunday drive. Great content. So much more information than from the bulk of the car CZcams crowd.
After watching a few videos of youtubers and THEIR Supras. I think it's "almost" the perfect new Supra. It offers owners a Wide scope for customising to the individuals needs and wants.
These new Supras are very well balanced cars. It is funny that they seem to be coming from the factory with the wrong alignment setups...!! So taking it on a track you need better tires, wheels, suspension, etc... For the regular mountain roads they are just fine after the alignment setup.!! Thanks COMRADES
@Robert, I think you just had cold front tires and not enough negative camber at the front so I had an understeer in the first corner. My M2 does exactly same stock setup on the stock tires. @Misha, the mic of the GoPro is not that bad but we barely hear what Robert is saying. Also, in my opinion, the 1080p60 is a much nice format to view than 4k30...
I share your opinion. He maybe came in too fast relative to the maximum of the front tires. And he said about too much weight being transfered to the front to be causing understeer but from what I know, that weight transfer to the front would minimize understeer, because it would have more normal force on the front tires.
The supra is getting there. Amazing to see what difference alignment can make to a car. Just saw this and the last video back to back so got a better understanding. Loved how the GT2RS just vanished from view.
Well done for getting that footage in there Misha, was steady considering. Very much enjoyed my epic taxi lap yesterday with Moritz in the GT2, good buy Robert👍. Mitchell took me for a lap as well in his M3, the mans a legend!💪 Missed out on a lap today in the F80 with the new mods since the track never opened, dissapointed but hey ho. Maybe next year if im fit enough to travel over, Micra ftw haha. All the best guys and enjoy your driving👍
It is so good to see people who actually understand cars. all the other people that covered this car just saying it's praises so on so forth. and then a group of people who actually push cars and know how to drive cars at their limit realize there was something wrong and they fixed it. now the car does what it's supposed to do when it's supposed to do it. Keep up the good work. PS I like the movile phone coverage, maybe you can mix it up
Hello Misha, Hello Carmrades. So many variables to learn. So many things to do to improve the feeling on this track, and the most important is not the car as I'm concerned (I speak for myself of course) BTW, this Supra is wonderful.
i really liked the video before and after ... i would definitely love to see the video and when you change the dampers i definitely like the technical videos
Great video peeps, how does it feel compared to the gt86 when that only had alignment work? is this supra as good as all the other you tubers are saying???
Good Video! Nice to see that the alignment improved the handling. I would also like to see an onboard lap of the VW Bus. ;) Driving Days have been great, I did 13 laps on Sunday and had the track nearly for myself and could witness some great drifting. And no crashes. It was really worth it. @10:04 oh, look, It's me. Hi \o
I think you should think about implanting a GoPro Mount into your forehead. Pro: Would get rid of the Marks after taking it off, Con: Can't think of any atm.... ;) Nice Video and a very chilled go around
Very late braking points forces you to be very late on the gas. Brake a little bit earlier and then be very early on the throttle. That will make you claerly faster.
Good evening from Australia! The Supra feels rushed off the production line. It's unusual for any modern car manufacturer to leave so much after-purchase fine tuning to the buyer, just to achieve expected performance.
Rushed? Doubtful, this is the first version of the A90 Supra, it's a road car first & foremost. The fact that there's room for improvement is no great surprise, accept to you for some reason.
It's called FINE tuning for a reason. Every single car ever made, can be FINE tuned. They are running the last 1%. Also, they're running it for the track, and 90% of the supras that will be made, will never see a track.
@@xenonram Sure, but from Misha's last video he said it was DANGEROUS at high speed and the rear right wheel was way off because of possible manufacture oversight... I'm only reacting to the information on this channel. If it's not a big deal tell Misha. LoL
hey don't know what's up but the footage feels way less sharp it looks like compression is kicking hard on it might be bitrate to low or something the prev video before aligment was way more sharp and had better quality. also go for 60 fps not 30fps :P even if it lower res.

will you guys be upgrading the turbo and putting a tune on the Supra after you do the JRZ suspension and MR kinematics, so it has a chance of keeping up with the GT2 RS? thanks for the easy video Misha, you dont always have to spend days editing for an awesome Sunday video for us

Do I hear fake engine sounds from the speakers? If so, can it be coded out like in BMWs?

Racing alignments should take into account the loading that squats the front and rear under braking and acceleration.
