    I'm looking forward to see the Geekbench & Antutu benchmarks for these things and possibly a drag race 👀 Jokes aside this would be great for active areas such the kitchen

      Still only a pre-release unit but the final version should be good for someone that doesn't like mopping floors like me :)

      I cant wait for more reputable models to come out with similar designs. Price on this one is way to high for random brand kickstarter project but indeed it looks super promising.

    This is a great review, thank you for uploading. I’m actually a backer on Kickstarter but I’m a bit unsure about the 2000pa compared to say the ROIDMI Eva which has a 3200pa and my current Deepbot T8 Avivi which has 2500pa. How did you find the vacuuming as it does seem to be more focused on mopping? Also do you have to take the pads off for it to go on carpet or will it dry them before going on carpet?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi, this is just a preview of it as the unit isn't final I'm not labeling this as a review. It's not bad as it's still sweeping and enough to get most dirt but yes not the most powerful for robot vacs ones that can do 4000pa. The focus is defiantly mopping over everything with the P8. The pads I took off for the mat. Since this is a pre-release model not everything is ready yet in the app but told it will have no go zones for carpets and the sensor on the button can detect carpets.

      @@Techtablets Can this vacuum and mop at the same time or is it limited to just sweeping and mopping at the same time?

      @@xaudiblex obode P8 supports 4 cleaning modes: single mopping, single sweeping, sweeping and mopping, first sweeping and then mopping. Sweeping and mopping mode can let the obode P8 sweeping, vacuuming and mopping at the same time

      @obode7216 Před 2 lety +3

      Hi, Mathew. We’re grateful to have your attention.
      The suction power of 2000pa is sufficient to handle dust, hair and any kinds of debris. Actually, stronger suction power generates more noise and needs frequent battery charges. We pursue P8 “cleaning quietly that you can barely notice”. The 2000pa suction power is ideal for late-night cleaning or light sleepers.
      obode P8 is designed with the idea of “fully liberating your hands”. You don’t need to take the pads off manually. P8 can agilely avoid carpets as it’s equipped with ultrasonic sensors. Furthermore, if you switch P8 into “First Sweeping then Mopping” mode, P8 will sweep the whole house (including carpets), then automatically mop the floor without getting on the carpet and wetting it. After cleaning is finished, P8 will go back to the station and dry the pads, then await further instructions.
      We've also responded to your other questions on kickstarter, feel free to communicate with us again if you have more queries. Give obode P8 a chance to prove its cleaning performance. Uplifting your mood by tidy living environment is what we promise. Don’t miss out!

      it depends :) I lifted all my furniture so my robot can go under table, sofa, bed, closet etc, I don't clean apartment at all anymore, because robot can do it at anytime , I set it to clean every 3rd day or so, because of that there is just barely any dust around so table and other surfaces do not have dust and stay clean for months. Once set up you just delete need to spend your time on cleaning and can dedicate this time to your loved ones or just do hobbies instead.
