Great video, thank you for reviewing the Obode P8. I’ve had my eye on this one for a while and I really like that it has a water tank onboard, it’s to bad that the base does not self-empty as well. I’ve also been looking at the Roidmi EVA which self-washes and self-empty’s, just curious if you could get your hands on one of the Roidmi EVA’s to do a review on?

I’ve been uneasy about the suction but my current robot vacuum is the Deepbot AVIVI T8 which has a suction of 2500. My house is a mix of carpet and hard floor. The P8 has a rating of 2000 would you say the extra 500 of my current would make a big difference? The reason for the upgrade is I really like the idea of the self cleaning mops which my current doesn’t do. Was also sold on the Obode team saying the P8 would vacuum first then mop the hard floors after.
Nice video! How would you compare it so far with Narwal and Dreame Tech Z10 (the one that also has self-washing feature. Forgive me if I'm referencing the wrong model).

Hello Michael! In sweeping mode, the P8 will clean the hardfloor and the carpets. And in mopping mode, the P8 will will automatically avoid carpets. obode P8 has 4 modes to meet different cleaning needs. So you can switch P8 into "First Sweep then Mopping" mode so that it will sweep floor and carpets first, after sweeping and vacuuming is finished, then it'll automatically strat to mop the floor, in this process, P8 will automatically avoid carpets. If you don't want to mop at the time, you can simply switch in single sweeping mode to clean your floor and carpets.
@@obode7216 Does that mean that if you use the sweep/mop mode at the the same time, the robot is also sucking up the dirt or just spinning the side brushes?
Beautiful video, really useful! I just have one question: 7:33 the robot almost went over some pants but they were slightly out the cleaning zone. What would happen with pants in the cleaning zone? Are the two laser sensors in the front able to avoid them? What happens with cables?

What is wrong with the water tank ? It is the main thing that attracts me on this robot compared to others ... It it does not wet the mop, it is a Big No.

Why is it going on the carpet because of a room division ? It is supposed to have a carpet sensor and not go on it with mops, unless I am wrong .... ?

All this robots miss is cleaning solution, simple water isn't enough for proper cleaning

Up to $749 for one $1198 for 2. Still waiting for a self cleaning mopping only. These combos have been a fail
