I am an educator 34 year of age from West Bengal been diagnosed hl a b27 positive 3 months ago. And recently I am taking six humira injection for 14 days interval each.recently I have no pain. my question is after taking all those medicine can I start outdoor playing like cricket or football? Can I do swimming, tracking cycling again?

If you are in remission for sufficient period of time, you are exercising regularly- you can start outdoor sports. Do consult your rheumatologist as well before starting. As far as swimming & cycling is concerned there is no issue.

Goodmorning Doctor,I'm a patient of Ankylosing Spondyloarthritis and 43 yr old.Ihave been taking Inj Golimubab 50 mg since past 8 months.My CRP quantitative remains around 6.7 every month before I get it checked before biologics.How long is going to take to see a considerably good effect of biologics.Ofcourse the morning stiffness and neck rigidity have reduced a lot but neck rotation and chest expansion is still not that good.
Golilumab is working as the neck stiffness & rigidity are better. Are you doing regular exercises? Neck rotation & chest expansion will improve with exercises. When & how much effect of biologics is expected will depend on the activity & damage of AS in your body.

Erosions generally do not reverse. There are a few studies that have shown filling up of erosions; however in general erosions do not reverse. Erosions by themselves don’t cause any problem. If there is no active inflammation, AS is well controlled.

Please confirm from your rheumatologist if the pain is due to AS. If the pain is not settling with NSAIDs & Saaz & if it is due to AS, biologics would help.
