I'm not a religious woman, yet I am a spiritual one. When I come across a grave that seems neglected or damaged from ages, I say lament to give peace to the desecration, whether purposefully or not. I also wear a talisman ( 20" chain with several added charms either gifted or anointed). I wish I could run my hands on the stone walls 🧱 or on a 500 year old gravestone. Fascinating history, my grandfather on my mothers side was an Irish immigrant landed in Australia in 1924, 100 years ago!👍🇦🇺

Every now and then I'll walk in a cemetery. I read the headstones, and wonder what this or that person might have been like, what is their story. It's sad and yet beautiful. And sometimes I go to see family and friends that no longer walk this earth, I'm deeply reminded how valuable our time is. Thank you.
