Porteros como Navas, Lloris, Hart o Handanovic se mantuvieron en la élite por varios años tristemente ninguno lo logró ganar y a eso hay que sumarle que estuvieron en la época de Neuer, Biffon y Casillas.
Donnarumma y Dibú tuvieron un buen torneo con su selección nacional y lo ganaron, Oblak y Ter Stegen aún estan jóvenes pero es difícil que lo ganen y para terminar De Gea quizás estaria en la conversación de no ser por los constantes errores.

Senza nulla togliere a never e Casillas ma buffon è stato un'altra cosa da giovane, ha fatto la differenza con il Parma, con la nazionale giovani dove ha vinto un europeo, viene acquistato dalla Juve con un prezzo stratosferico per un portiere dimostrando già allora di essere il migliore, ha vinto il mondiale da assoluto protagonista e gli hanno rubato un pallone d'oro per farlo apparire al Bernabeu assieme w Cannavaro mentre lui scendeva in B con la Juventus perdendo anche altri 4 anni di livello altrimenti sarebbe stato il miglior portiere del mondo per 10 anni di fila. Buffon è l'unico portiere dopo yashin ad aver meritato di vincere il pallone d'oro
Il pallone d'oro dato a cannavaro fu il più scandaloso mai visto. Considera che questo titolo è deciso dagli sponsor. Senza buffon, cannavaro (ottimo difensore) non avrebbe avuto una carriera così fulgida. Un portiere capace di parare l'impossibile e con la grande sapienza di guidare i suoi compagni in difesa, lo pongo al di sopra di chiunque altro. E te lo dice uno che odia la juve.

Siamo in pochi a ricordare cosa fece buffon nel mondiale 2006, senza di lui non l'avremmo mai vinto. per quanto riguarda le 3 finali perse, bisogna dire che affrontò le 3 squadre più forti di tutti i tempi. Se nel 2017 (prima della finale solo 3 reti subite e nessuna sconfitta per la Juve) non ci fossero stati gli spagnoli, ma il City del triplete, Buffon avrebbe vinto a mani basse.
