Kevin Mulita that’s where you are competlety wrong. It was easier to score goals back then that’s why peles talent is overrated because there was 6 striker formations and horrible defending. A goalkeeper back then was actually harder and it was easier to score. He’s the only keeper to win ballan dor. he also kept many clean sheets but that’s not a very important stat since there are other players that help that. However he also saved sooo many penalties although it’s just a stat it is one of the hardest things in football

Old time goalkeepers loved to catch the ball : Yashin, Michel Preudhomme, Bruce Grobbelaar, Thomas NKono.
The ball wasn't as "bouncy" as today's. On one side it was heavier so harder to stop with one hand and things like that, on the other you could catch it easier

Buffon is the best while also being goat, the one with most trophies and best career, he still plays at 44 years and its relaxing watching him. He is biggest part of my childhood back in the days in italy in holidays. All in all he is the best, legendariest and my favourit keeper of all time and will always be so.

Футбол дал миру немало прекрасных вратарей, почти ничем не уступавших друг другу в мастерстве. Поколениям болельшиков было приятно смотреть на их блистательную игру. Специалисты немало брали из их опыта для совершенствования вратарского искусства, но лучшим из всех, даже сами прославленные вратари называли советского вратаря Льва Яшина и с ними надо согласиться!
