Hey All. Welcome to the next episode in our van build series. Today we are installing the Webasto Heater along with the Bluetooth enabled Smart Temp Controller. This had been a pretty daunting project for us…..lots of parts….and lots of mystery. But it ended up going really well. The heater is now installed and pumping lots of warm air…..and the Bluetooth capability works great.

Mark, it is usually recommended the fuel pump be mounted at a 45 degree angle so air bubbles pass through the pump. It also ensures that the pump is lubricated properly by the fuel. Nice video, Thanks
That is a great tip. I will likely try and reposition the fuel pump to angle it up. I had not heard of that tip until you mentioned it. Thank you.
for heating efficiency especially under the bed, in the garage area, the inlet should be as far as possible from the heat outlet for not to create a microclimate. Great install tutorial. Thank you
Thank you for that tip. We will certainly and keep them as far apart as possible........maybe we will direct the outlet toward the back of the van and draw from as far forward as possible

Dude thanks so much for this detailed installation... Im about to install this unit on my 136in PM next week. Very very helpful. Btw did you re-angled the pump at 45 degrees? Also would you do something differently a year later?
It sounds pretty loud in my headphones. 31:08 could you recommend this for stealth camping?
I have to be honest. We haven't used it on the road yet.....but it doesn't seem overly loud to me.

I am so sorry for such a late response. No we did not make it this year.....but it sounds like a great plan for 2024. assuming they have it there again
