This a short written by and starring Madeleine Coghlan. A grieving young woman leans on her younger brother for emotional support until a spontaneous night out forces her to confront her denial.

Why is everyone just talking about either how he finally posted or how much they love Wyatt? This was an incredible short film and not just cause of Wyatt. The acting was amazing by everyone. The message Is really strong in this. It’s such a good short film for a lot more reasons than just Wyatt

i liked this in a sad way. the way it ended felt real. she could've gotten with the girl and had a happy ending. something could've happened with the uber driver. she could've had some great big scene with her brother. but the way it ends with her crying in an empty parking lot by an ice cream shop is just so human and relateable, and really personal. v cool

i loved the barrette scene. that stage of questioning can be so difficult. you want to figure yourself out but don’t want people to feel like they’re just a piece of an “experiment.” wonderfully portrayed on both ends. i hope to see more from madeleine in the future!
I think it was less figuring herself out and more trying to see if kissing the person she liked would take the pain away cuz she kept saying “i wants to see if it would feel better”. But clearly the other girl wasn’t aware of her struggles so she didn’t realize how deep it actually was

I love how the beat of the music gets emphasiesed when the sister was talking to the hot ice cream girl at the quiet staircase, like her heartbeat. Such detail

The artistry was absolutely amazing. In the beginning, you could almost feel the awkward tension between the two siblings. One obviously trying to grieve and the other silently grieving but also trying to help the other. This short film should become a feature-length film because my god this is nothing short of Oscar-worthy. My hats off to anyone and everyone involved with this amazing project.

Wow this is so freaking good. The acting was phenomenal, the scenery really set the mood, and as someone who really struggles with mental health, I really related to Maddie’s character Carly and I think the way her emotions were portrayed were really accurate as to what goes through the mind of someone who’s dealing with depression or anxiety or whatever it may be. I’d give it a 10/10 but...
Wyatt’s character was named Sam not Stanley so 3/10

I love both of them as actors so much. They’re both so good, I hope people recognize them more now! Wyatt has grown so much since It, it was kind of sad at first since he was growing up but I’m actually really proud of him🥺

I actually found this by accident and I didn't know this was Wyatt's acc but this short film is so beautiful and the acting of the actors here is incredible 😩
In the first interaction between Sam and Carly, Sam seems to be working on something on Final Cut Pro 0:51 and then he's watching something on CZcams 0:58 in the closer shot and I just feel it's interesting when you notice something different that shows the shots we're filmed at different times.
This is outstanding. Hats off to Madeleine and the entire team! She really blew me away and I see she's going to be someone to look out for

Beautiful. I kinda can relate to her, since I've lost my older brother to covid19 this January. My youngest brother is way more ahead in the grieving than I am. He is already back to enjoying his life. I'm not there yet. I do have friends but since we still are in lockdown it is hard to meet up. And meeting up via zoom is NOT meeting up. Next friday I'm going to see a psychologist, because I need some help, some tools to get my life back. Well done with this short. You both did a good job. 👍
Hey, grieving is the most natural thing and very important to experience after a loss. I know that this time must be incredibly hard for you and that it probably feels unbearable at times, if not all the time, but I am really proud of you for taking the step and speaking to a therapist.

It’s extremely difficult to except that you’re not going to be okay and that you’re sad. Loosing someone you love is not something you’ll ever get over so expecting it may be the hardest but most healthy way of dealing with grief.
just stumbled across this while looking at some inspo for my project and holy shit. this is incredibly filmed, written, executed, everything is just so amazing about this. the emotions portrayed felt so beyond real and just AHHHHHHH is literally how i feel. AHHHHHHHH

i didnt think watching this was going to hurt as much as it did, but it made me really emotional. i see a lot of myself in carly, the desperation for human connection, having everyone else around me be able to move on and distract themselves with their own lives after we lost my sister, while i didn't have anyone.
this was a really thought provoking short film, thanks to wyatt, madeleine and the rest of the team that produced this.
