  • 👉 Learn how to determine the concavity of a function. A function is said to be concave up (convex) if the graph of the curve is facing upwards and the function is said to be concave down (concave) if the graph is facing down.
To test for the concavity of a function, we find the second derivatives of the function. Given a function y = f(x), the graph is concave up (convex) in the intervals where the second derivative of the function is positive. The graph is concave down (concave) in the intervals where the second derivative of the function is negative. And the graph has a point of inflection at the points where the second derivative of the function is zero.

Why did you go to (2,0) instead of (2, infinity) ?
