1:17 it's because you're in tactical group, change it with a 4-sec press&hold on the e-switch to get the normal stepped mode, than dual click goes turbo. There's also a shortcut for Moonlight mode by pressing both switches, there are many more hidden features
no, it was a bug. Didn't matter which UI you were in it would always get strobe. Others also confirmed this issue. I'm aware of all the UI features, thank you though

The third graph makes things clear, the L21B convoy has fantastic regulation: + Lumens, + runtine and + thrower. The TD01C is a good upgrade and extra fearures is nice, but the convoy is incredible for the price. Excellent video as always, keep it up. 👏
Yes, but the convoy has a classic reflector and no e-switch, there's also no usb-c charger onboard, and the knurling looks very cheap.
@@TonyMontana-xj3zvI love the type c charger onboard. It works with power delivery chargers as well, so any type c charger should work. I have too many devices I need to remove cells from to charge. It's convenient when I can just charge it on my phone charger.
@@dpjazzy15 i started with a sofirn sc31 pro, so it had a usb-c charging slot 5v/2a it was charging fast enough with 2 amps, then i ordered a top 1 class flashlight for 100$ a fireflies e07, it's have not a usb-c, so every time i go for a walk 30-60 minutes im using about 2000-3000mAh Energy of a 21700 cell (5000mah Max), and have to unscrew the tailcap daily to take out the battery and charge it on my liitokala lii600 😭 first times i had no problem with this but after some months i had enough 😭 i had the td01c but i didn't like the power output, it was do dimm for me with turbo (1500 lumen), they don't get 2000 lumen on the box. I had many sofirn lights like sp36pro, heavy, Q8 pro, heavy, some of the wurkkos also, but when i don't like the light as it was planned, i just sell them on local Web for the same price so i don't care. Now i want to try out the sc33 with 70.3 hi it has also a usb-c charging slot

I lost my TD01, and ive been using an L21B. Inlike the L21, but its feature lacking, too big and doesnt throw as well. It has too much spread. My TD01C just arrived. Im excited to test it out tonight.

If it says TD01C below the switch, then it's the C version. Everything else is the same, you can't tell the difference without a test
Thank you for this review. TD01C on the way. You measured TD01 pushes max. 10,98A on the SFT40. Thats right where SFT40 test sheet shows big fall in output . Dou you think there will be burned/damaged leds in TD01?
Very doubtful when it drops in output quite quickly. I measured that 11A with a Molicel P42A, so using the included cell will see less current anyway. Also note that the 11A is without the tailcap installed, so with that in place, the spring and switch would reduce it a little too.
Is there any graph for amperage on the td01c to have a look how much it consumes in turbo?
@@TonyMontana-xj3zv I measured a little over 6A, but since it's a buck driver it'll be higher at the LED. Wurkkos mentioned it's a 7A buck driver.
@@PiercingTheDarkness ok so 6-7 Amps, and whats the voltage? 3.7V, 4.2V or 6V so i can measure how many watts it has. 7A x 3.7V = 25.9 Watts?
@@TonyMontana-xj3zv The SFT40 is a 3V LED, but you'd need to know the exact forward voltage of it to get an accurate calculation. 3V is good enough though. The SFT40 has a minimum Vf of 2.6 and max of 3.1.
Not exactly a perfect light, I think I'm happy with my Acebeam L18 for now... I was hoping this would be more in line with the L19.

Just note that I always reduce my range measurements by 5% because I've always thought it was reading a bit high. It would be 998m if left as is.
I have a feeling that TIR Optics are measuring way too low in a PVC Tube. I'm going to try build a sphere next year.
For example, 1Lumen measured 1900+ in a sphere with the L19 and Zeroair measured 1300+ using a PVC Tube. 350-400 difference puts the TD01C very close to its claim.
@@PiercingTheDarknessi think the same, for TIR optics you need some other sphere, we waiting for new videos.
@@TonyMontana-xj3zv Interestingly 1Lumen used a sphere and measured 1250 lumens, so now I'm really confused by Wurkkos' numbers they showed on their video. Who has the correct output measurements?.
