Just to clarify, this is the striated caracara or Forster's caracara (Phalcoboenus australis), not the more widely distributed (and thus more commonly associated with the name caracara) crested caracara (Caracara plancus)
The crested one also was a familiar city and countryside bird especially if you living in South western US or anywhere in Central and South America. While striated one mostly occur in southern islands
@@prasetyodwikuncorojati2434 I live in a country with both: Argentina. The striated caracara is present in Tierra del Fuego which is a large island and one of our provinces. The crested caracara is a regular sight even here in downtown Buenos Aires. Now they've been somewhat displaced by the Harris's hawk (Parabuteo unicinctus) but during the months of the covid lockdown back in 2020 and 2021 they moved into the city in surprisingly large numbers. The pigeons didn't like that too much, lol
@@jaungiga well the pigeon clearly eaten by them

My favorite Raptors. Thank you 😊
They like to remind us once in a while that they descended from dinosaurs.
they literally ARE dinosaurs.
Lies. Nobody knows nor has any knowledge about what you mentioned. It's only conjecture and theory of men who think they know the unseen realities of the past.
Birds are sooo cool!
If there's one group of birds that truly represent what dinosaurs must have been like, it's the RAPTORS!
Great video.
Sound like a straight up Pokemon name
I blame the schools
😅
Great video of birds

Excellent emoji likeness! 👍 I’d never have thought of that.
The younger birds are like your time is up old timers
Johnny Rooks (Striated Caracaras) join Keas and some crows as the smartest of birds.
I would argue to add Parrots to that list .
Highly intelligent .
Cockatoos live up to 60 years
@@chateaupig826 Keas are parrots but as a group parrots are very smart birds the African Gray Parrots, now considered two species, use to be considered the most intelligent though some people argue it is Caledonian Crow, other it is the Kea. I believe the Johnny Rook should be on the list.
I guess it's the colour of their feathers?
These birds are bad parents. Thats how kids end up in gangs.
Only the strong survive 🦅
Striated Caracras
They sound like crows
Squirrels' nest fell from the tree 😢

We didn't see that one old bird acting young, trying to fit in with the younger birds acting ignorant and doing drugs being a bad example, getting pregnant at same time as their daughters.....I'm sorry. That got a little preachy at the end.✌️
Speaking of killing, OJ simpson just passed away
