Last year my English teacher made us make a fanfiction story and as soon as she said that we all had a horrified look. She immediately went, “NO NO NOT THAT KIND OF FANFICTION”
That does get on my nerves, because people always assume I'm writing something sexual. I HATE writing that stuff, I never have written it. I've implied it, but never written the act. I'm a hurt/sick/injury/torture fanfic writer. None of my stuff is meant to be sexual in any way. Most of the characters I deal with are platonic too; I'm more interested in truly breaking a specific character (both mentally and emotionally breaking them, usually caused by physical torture, or making them helpless because of an illness) and then seeing the recovery process and how they change as well as how their relationship changes. I seriously want to write about Sean and Mark, but I probably won't I'm working on a ton of other stories rn and don't really want to start a new one lmao.

I once read a fanfiction that started out with smut and sexual tension and slowly transitioned into this really fluffy and slightly angsty story that destroyed me emotionally. It was so unreal, since that is like the complete opposite of what you would expect from fanfic
@@irushtheworld2639 that honestly sounds like a great experience, im currently reading a +300.000 word fanfic, where it starts out as one of them saved the others life, and then they become friends and then lovers, its both very angsty because of trauma but REALLY fluffy, and smut comes later on. Its still not done and i cant wait for it to update again.

As a writer for nearly 15 years, Ethan’s approach to writing was a whole mood! 😂 The part about having a rapid fire brain and not being able to translate it into writing was especially a mood. That takes a lot of practice and patience with yourself.
