Exactly. The brain wires itself to function "normally" when drugs are present amd abnormally when they arent. The frontal lobe changes from drug use. This part of the brain is responsible for executive functions like capacity to plan, organise, initiate, self-monitor and control one's responses in order to achieve a goal. These drugs during withdrawal can make you feel so much pain you feel like you will die without your next fix. All you can think about is drugs and its rational to their brains what they do and say to get their drugs as well as the excuses for their behaviors and such. And it can take 2 years for the frontal lobe to heal and for the brain to re-wire itself to function normally. And that's 2 years AFTER stopping all narcotics including aids like methadone and saboxone. Addiction truly is a disease.

Actually, most ERs worth their salt will provide short term relief from opioid, alcohol, or benzodiazepine withdrawal. Then they discharge pt with a referral for either inpatient or outpatient treatment long term if necessary. They wouldn’t just “send her home” if withdrawal is the case.

As somebody who has crohn's disease.... I wake up in pain many days, and if I can't make myself go to the bathroom, I have to go to work in severe pain sometimes...it's part of life... I have Crohn’s Disease. I have managed it for 40 years. The ER would not have sent her away without a CT scan to see if there was a blockage or narrowing of the intestines. It’s painful, at times, but I can put on my socks. What a lame excuse to obtain drugs.

As an ED nurse, if you are on methadone and you show up in the ED for irretractable pain, we are going to doubt you. probably not best practices but experience is a teacher.
That's a shame. Nurses like you seem to be (one yelled at me, "Get out of my ER, we don't give drugs to druggies anymore") are why I went undiagnosed for YEARS. She saw I was in another ER recently and instead of assuming I was there because I was not okay she assumed it was for drugs. Same when I went to that same ER twice in a week after not being helped well the first time. Turns out I have a neurological disease and had my 10th brain surgery four weeks ago. I was on methadone for pain. The pain broke through massively. All I needed was compassion and help. A spinal tap would've diagnosed me. The disease is very rare so I understand an ER doc not knowing what it was, but if I was taken seriously they'd have kept me in or referred me urgently to someone else. PLEASE remember me when you face patients. I have permanent vision loss because of nurses and doctors who sent me away. I never went back to that ER after that nurse did that because I felt ashamed to be there even when I haven't had a reason to be. So thanks to that I delayed treatment and my optic nerves will never recover. Giving someone a dose of painkillers in an ER setting is not the same as a take-home prescription and sending people away untreated or believing them to be out for drugs leaves innocents like me with not only unnecessary suffering but lasting damage. I personally think that just like it's better for 10 guilty to go free than 1 innocent be wrongly convicted, it's better for 10 addicts to get their hit than for 1 innocent patient in indescribable pain to be denied treatment. Addicts make their choice. Patients who get sick do not.
I'm on methadone but on a low dose since I'm tapering off. The hospital has always treated me with respect and helped me. I always tell them up front, and let them know I want tests not meds. They know who is up to what.
No, it's not best practices and makes you a shitty nurse. People like you keep others from getting the help they need because they're basically stamped for life by you. Guess what? I've worked with people who have been sober for decades and can barely get a damn aspirin (probably because of this nurse here) in an emergency because they have that stamp. Well, she can drive to get her methadone but it’s too much to do for a drug test which doesn’t require any more than what she’s does to get her drugs. The ER is always treat & release. Anyone whose been through a serious diagnosis knows the frustration of waiting MONTHS to see a specialist. That’s how it works for everyone.

What a little liar. Bit by bit the judge finally got the recent drug use out of her. If she's really as sick as she says, the jail can send her to the hospital for a while and then take her back in.
If you’re in pain, you go to the doctor. If it’s so much pain, that you “Can’t move,” you call an ambulance. Whether one is on probation or free as a bird, if one has a medical issue, not seeking help, is irresponsible.

Not funny in the least bit. Coming off dope is a nightmare. If you do ‘t have experience with it I can see how you’d laugh, but if you have a few minutes, take a deeper look.
@@kendrafrench7198 something can be funny and misfortunate at the same time. In the same way that a person falling in a ridiculous way is both funny and misfortunate
Judge DiSanto is so amazing how she keeps probing for the truth among all of this girl's excuses. She says she's hiding nothing from the court; but 14 mins into this hearing she finally admits to having Fentanyl in her system DURING THIS HEARING!!
Her attorney should face legal consequences for enabling her addiction. Cheers to this Judge.🌸🇺🇸
If she's not under a doctor's care and she's self-medicating than she should be headed to jail. The methadone clinic would require a doctor's note before running her dose out to the car or letting her skip a lot of days. She can't dose dirty either. She's wasting her chances for a decent life in every way.
She lied the whole time! I’m Shocked!!😂😂😂
Ikr? Imagine my suprise.😂😂😂😂😂
As someone who gets kidney stones and has pain in the abdomen, I can tell when someone is in pain and she's faking it.
I think so too. My fiance gets stones so large he needs surgery. I've never seen someone in as much agony as him. My heart goes out to you
@@indiareiss434 just got out of hospital because of kidney stones and kidney issues. Former addict and always let ER doctors know that I'm not here for meds. I hold the pain till it feels like balls have been run over by truck. This is usually 3 days with only Tylenol. I wish judge would tell them to just turn in to jail
Your diet must be garbage.
Absolutely faking it
" a nudge from the judge has saved many lives" it's a tough road but worth it.
She really thought that talking about “personal issues” would get her out of trouble. Like telling your dad you’re on your period hoping he’ll leave you alone.
WTH with your comment christiewright1457???? This must be so funny to you. Pathetic!
Like the judge said, if she can drive to get a doctor's note, she can drive to get tested. Giving urine sample is just sitting on the toilet and collecting into a cup, so it's not acrobatics. She's trying to stall, and it didn't work this time.
I know many people who suffer pain from industrial accidents and more and their pain is literally etched on their faces. This woman in not in unbearable pain I can say this with confidence. Of course this is just my opinion but I believe her pants are on fire.
I have a TBI from Iraq, and for 13 years have been in crippling pain to the point that I physically cannot work anymore, but you would never notice if we met, as I can keep the pain inside and present as "normal" around people. As a lot of us in real pain will not even show its effects. However, your opinion and friends pain do definitely matter!! Some people's bodies just cannot take the pain. Thank you for sharing your story and hopefully your friends get better!
I see now discomfort, moving, twitching, etc to indicate any pain from her during the entire video, but maybe she found the one position where it feels good enough for the few minutes on Zoom.
And in other news, water is apparently wet…
When she said the ER sent her away with this alleged horrible pain, that said it all. They knew she was there to get pain pills/drugs. It's very sad the extent that drug users go to lie and deceive.
Do you have inside information, or do you just BELIEVE that´s the truth? Don´t judge a book by it´s cover! Never, ever mix what you believe to be the truth with what REALLY is the truth...Unless you just do it to have the "joy" of mucking ppl.
I do NOT know the truth in this story, neither do i KNOW where you get your info from...That´s the reason why i don´t know the whole truth in this case...
Zippo I appreciate your perspective, but this type of naïveté is why more people’s lives are lost. The judge could literally be saving this young woman’s life by locking her up away from her addiction. As a former pill addict, this girls rhetoric is all too familiar… and the judge has surely seen and heard it all before. Please allow yourself to read the tea leaves and to see the bigger picture. This isn’t at all about judging a book by its cover, it’s about seeing a cover of a book you’ve already read.
@@zippo1009 She's a liar and a user, that's all the truth you need to know. SMH
@@zippo1009, perhaps you didn't watch the whole thing, but after the continued to question her, she first said there would be nothing in her system but methadone. Then admitted to fentanyl and then also to cocaine. She's spiraling and experiencing withdrawals, that's the reason for her pain. The Judge is saving her life.
I went to the hospital with stomach pains and the pain they saw me in,they kept cos I was sweating profusely, shaking with cold sweats.I told them everything that lead up to me being there. It was my alcoholism but they couldn't figure out why I kept getting sick. I was given countless IVs,poo taken for analysis, even got recommended for a colonoscopy (three polops were found, not cancerous)..this wasn't my only trip then the hospitals.iv been to three during everything up to now. Found out it was the marijuana from Mexico and the chemicals being used. By then I had already been 3.5 years sober, gotten my marijuana medical card, eating healthier and exercising. My stomach pains come around but not like they used too
Its the ‘I am in so much pain that I can’t even put on my socks but I can get into the car and go to the Methadone clinic, but when I can’t some drug dealer will bring over my cocaine and fentanyl’. This is my favorite video.
Too many pain pills have clogged her up
This lady should be the poster girl for the dangers of opiod addiction and how it destroys your life. I can see this wonan is locked into her addiction but only SHE can get herself out. I will pray for her because I know how hard it is but if you want to get better YOU WILL!!
And I'll be praying that there will be fewer idiots clasping their hands and raising their eyes to the sky, asking their imaginary buddy to carry out their every wish.
You can tell Judge DiSanto isn't buying any of this 😂
You can always tell when Judge DiSanto ain’t buying into somebody’s s***.😂
Party time is over. They should have some good Pepto in jail.
No wonder the ER sent her home and didn’t do anything. Her tummy hurts cause she’s in withdrawal.
@@lizpurr8402 she's on Methadone 😂 what else can they do? Taking fentanyl from Lord knows who and don't forget the cocaine. Be for real
Lied under oath about what was in her blood. "I am not trying to hide anything from the court" except your use of illegal drugs. Now, she admits fentynal as well. Perjury, illegal use of drugs, violated probation.
Ahhhhhhhh yeah, it would seem that all the crying and pain suddenly stopped upon the Judge saying that she was sending the defendant to the County Jail for 35 days.
Man, I really feel for her. Being dope sick is awful. I don’t know that jail will help, but hopefully Team Wellness will give her a stepping stone to sobriety.
Her attorney’s face says, “FML”.
Lol
I wonder if "Dr's don't know what's wrong, I need to see a specialist." means "I will not relent in my lies and there is no proof of medical issues."
her level of pain is NON EXISTANT
I'm still confused how some people can use Fentanyl regularly but 1 grain or even dust from the drug can be instant death to others. Using Fentanyl is like playing Russian Roulette.
As somebody who has crohn's disease.... I wake up in pain many days, and if I can't make myself go to the bathroom, I have to go to work in severe pain sometimes...it's part of life... I can't put my life on hold every time I wake up in pain or else I would end up homeless. She probably just knew she would fail The drug test and decided not to go.... and then came up with this scheme.
I have Crohn’s Disease. I have managed it for 40 years. The ER would not have sent her away without a CT scan to see if there was a blockage or narrowing of the intestines. It’s painful, at times, but I can put on my socks. What a lame excuse to obtain drugs.
Seems like she has an aversion to accountability.
Hilarious 😂
She failed probation three times and she is still out?
The pain and not moving and not touching her phone is called kicking, and nothing else.
"I wouldnt lie to the court judge, and i have been completely honest the whole time".
Proceeds to admit to using cocaine and fentanyl 5 minutes later when pressed by the judge.
Don't forget the meth, too. 👍🏻😁
She tried it. But she f’ed around and found out!
This is why Zoom court needs to end. She should have been handcuff Immediately.
I swear these guys cannot be trusted, they must know eventually the judge will get to the root of the issue
Jail is the ONLY answer!! Defense attorneys are ridiculous. 🤦♂️ "Nobody deserves jail!!" Well, let them stay with you!! 😂
Sounds like constipation to me!!😂😂😂😂😂
No entity on earth can lie as can an addict. It's their job.
from socks to seatbelt, she said this in the mirror and her head for hours.
No doubt
I'm pretty sure she can test sockless 😁
Can't drive either she said. But she can drive to get the Methadone, as she said they bring it to her in the car!!!
Guess what? If you know it's not a best practice, and you should know how important those words are, and you aren't following it, you're being shit at your job and a disgrace to your license.
@@psychedforlife7176 Most often they don't, I'm sorry but you're wrong. I'm very glad you're treated well where you are going, that's fantastic.
Please don't try to extend that out to say therefore everything is fine in the medical system because it's not.
I've worked with people who have been sober for decades and can barely get a damn aspirin (probably because of this nurse here) in an emergency because they have that stamp.
Please do not assume your experience means you can speak for everyone in your position.
@@psychedforlife7176 I do want to ask though, you always say you "want tests not meds". What happens when you need meds?
Horrible at lying, horrible liar. Jail might save her life.
When the judge takes her glasses off 😂 makes me laugh every time
No kidding. I've been doing this so much that it's become habit... I pull my glasses off when she does.
Just found this channel a couple days ago and it's all I've been watching! Keep up the great work 😊
What a joke the attorney is! Lol. He’s buying into her lies!
Can make it to the methodone clinic every day but can't go test.
Keep giving them a pass. It’s working wonders
Lord have mercy she is healed!!!!
Just put her in jail and test her
Well, she can drive to get her methadone but it’s too much to do for a drug test which doesn’t require any more than what she’s does to get her drugs. Drug users are seriously incapable of making up believable excuses. They lie, lie, lie and they are as stupid as a doorknob. I love how she refused to do a drug test then ended up by going to jail. That worked out so well for her.
Also my cousins stepdaughter passed away which was very traumatizing I also have a job lined up for next week
There's no one to feed my chinchillas & I'm the only one my blind grandma will let hold her up on the toilet....🤣
Go judge! Don't fall for it!!
"I am not trying to hide anything from the court!"
Several minutes earlier lies about what will show up in her test.
HAHAHAHA! That's a new/good one!
"I don't have a problem submitting a dirty test."
The way she said fentanyl as is it’s on the same level with tylenol is so sad …..
I’ve been watching videos on CZcams of streets full of fentanyl addicts and addicts to another drug often mixed with fentanyl ( can’t remember what citys it was in but it had zombie addicts or similar in the title of video ) where there are countless people just standing or sitting in a hunched over position literally like zombies, huge wounds on their limbs and dead people found daily …
I would recommend the courts making young people like this to be taken on special tours of that awful place , seeing and speaking to these addicts up close because it is heartbreaking and taken to the morgue to see the end results of drugs like fentanyl…..if that didn’t make them stop using nothing will!
I agree wholeheartedly with your decision Judge. This gal is quite frankly a drug addicted person who needs very controlled surroundings to get herself in the right mindset. Maybe
"I did see you there, but I cant testify in my own court."
You just did.
At some point as a defense attorney you need to just stop and know you did the best you could with what your client gave you. Once you start being as delusional as they are, you're not helping them.
His trying to reinforce her lies just makes him look and sound like an idiot. But Judge she is in so much pain………………
"You're going to a treatment center- the Wayne County Jail" lol
"This isn't kindergarten, tummy aches will not excuse your fent usage."
She is not confused about what she needs to do lol I’m surprised her lawyer said that
the guy, Luke, watching in on this looked more uncomfortable than anyone else
Likely why she stops fighting immediately after, she’s high and feeling great
The ER is always treat & release. Anyone whose been through a serious diagnosis knows the frustration of waiting MONTHS to see a specialist. That’s how it works for everyone.
Exactly. Been there done that
Yes
People see one episode of House and think that’s what hospital treatment is like. I WISH it worked that way!

Boom she’s going to jail 👌🏻
You've got to feel for that lawyer.
For god sakes girl take miralax that will clean ya out for jail. She has gas pain 😂
Are you thinking of that guy Robert from 60 days in, the tv show, where he faked death pain so he didn't have to go back in with the prisoners and ER discharged him with Miralax but he had to be dropped from the show .....That was hysterical when he was busted on live tv
What a little liar. Bit by bit the judge finally got the recent drug use out of her. If she's really as sick as she says, the jail can send her to the hospital for a while and then take her back in.
20:36 All that crying suddenly stopped 😂😂😂
If you’re in pain, you go to the doctor. If it’s so much pain, that you “Can’t move,” you call an ambulance. Whether one is on probation or free as a bird, if one has a medical issue, not seeking help, is irresponsible.
I know her lawyer trying to get her out of jail but she NEEDS t go ae 35 days in jail where she can’t be tempted…..hopefully she uses that time wises
0:13 Bottom left: Tom Bosley from the television smash hit “Happy Days.”
I've been in recovery for 38 years and methadone is like treating alcoholism with a quart of vodka.
She probably does have constipation. I think that’s a side effect of fentanyl.
methadone is a very powerful pain medication.
Of course she doesn't want to discuss this. She cant figure out how to keep lying about it all.
Good lord I would charge her just for speaking like a toddler and annoying me with the "ahh I I I aah I I"
