    Do a video about balancing the lower end after changing the piston, rod and flywheel so the motor doesn't shake itself apart .

    The carb is a pain in the as to tune. But for my stock Coleman BT200x it was turn it all the way in and 2.5 out with the larger jet. It does run a little rich but not enough to foul plugs and it sounds good and runs good.

    Ty for the non epa carbs,my bike ran rich (stock 196 that runs 4800rpm out of the boxO.o somehow AxisM200)and I couldnt do much about it with the stock carb.
    Had it a week and already want a little more grunt low to mid range.
    Pretty torquey little things even stock.

    I changed my carburetor and now mine just try’s to take off soon as I pull the recoil starter idk what’s wrong with it it’s the same one brand new

    @graygoat I love in Wyoming which is a alltitude of 5k what would you recommend. For more bottom end power and top out maybe ten mph more.

    I have this kit. How do you keep the muffler from loosening from the header pipe?

      I used a stainless steel clamp for this issue. I cut another one and used it to fill in the gap between header pipe and muffler

      there are 100 utube vids on governor removal. they're all abt the same. just get the little washers out from under the gov plastic gear and inside the gov lever so they dont fall into the motor and cause damage later. get 1/4 inch x 1 inch long bolt to stick in the gov hole... if u knock the gov post out of the motor from the flywheel side. get the $5 ebay 1/4 inch tap to tap threads into the motor and clean out the motor of metal shaving. red thread lock on the bolt threads as the 1/4 inch bolts will never be coming out.

    I have a question for you. My stock muffler fell off, so i bought a small straight pipe for the time being, it popped and shot fire like a real big dog. Well I didnt like that so I ordered a stage 1 kit from GPS, and she still does it. I tried turning the carb down and it helped but idk how far can I adjust it, I have taken it way out and she runs better but still pops when I give her the ole what fer. Do I just keep adjusting the carb or is there something im missing?

      carb jet TOO BIG? running extra gas that it cannot burn cuz not enuf O2 in the air so the unburned gas POPS when it gets more fresh air when it leaves the exhaust pipe. wasted gas/pollution. for most sea level elevations with those mods a .032 jet or MAYBE a .034 jet shd be good enuf. check the color of NEW SPARK plug. light tan porcelean tipped plug is what u want. NOT WHITE... toooo lean/needs more gas. NOT BLACK... tooooo much gas wasted out exhaust.

      You can call it a CVT if you want but Comet who originally designed them does not. They call their TAV2-30 series a Torq-A-Verter and use the words Torque Converter in their documentation.

    DRILL A ~5/8-3/4 INCH HOLE THRU THE DIVIDER thing in the 5-8 HP BRIGGS hot dog muffler for MORE FLOW... and a little more noise. the jet he is putting in, to me... might be too big. depends on YOUR ELEVATION. HIGHER ELEVATION= LESS O2 in the air... so no matter how much gas u dump into it, there is no O2 to burn it so it goes out the tailpipe as pollution/wasted gas.
    start with the STOCK .028 inch jet with NEW PLUG... check the color of the plug. we want a LIGHT TAN SPARK PLUG PORCELEAN TIPPED PLUG. NOT BLACK from toooo much gas and not enuf air (cant do much abt the not enuf air without N2O added). NOT NEW IN BOX WHITE that sais it is TOOOOO LEAN... NEEDS MORE GAS / Bigger jet. it will run well running lean... but it RUNS HOT HOT HOT and the piston/cyl swell up and score each other... ruin engine.
    temp gun is $16 on fleabay or Harbor Freight. check the heat temp at spark plug... and header. it runs cooler with more gas than with NOT ENUF gas.
    then step up to .032 inch jet... run it to WIDE OPEN THROTTLE (WOT) for 10 seconds on test stand and while still at WOT... FLIP THE KILL SWITCH. let cool, pull the plug... check its color. is it light tan? almost new in box white? or BLACK from too much gas? adjust jet accordingly.
    prolly better to run it a LITTLE RICH than a little lean. lean burns the motor up. with those mods i wud think that a .034 inch jet wud be PLENTY... maybe even a .032 inch jet? trial and error, jets are not that expensive so ... get both .032 and the .034 inch jets?

      There's no need or performance gain from new valve springs on an engine that's going to run at RPM below 4000.

      @@Stealthhayes93 It's not a belief. Removing the governor at this part of the progression is a waste of time and will not provide any gain with torque converter installed. With the stock Coleman 50 tooth you would be lucky to get to 3800 RPM, even with the throttle screw backed out or chopped off.
      The time to pull the governor is when you decide on a major gearing change. The best way to a gearing change for ungoverned RPM is with OMB's Tork-Zilla driver for the torque converter. This is the best time to open the engine and remove the governor. While it's open is a great time to do things like a rod, cam, flattop piston, and valve springs to support the cam. Then finish it off with an aftermarket flywheel, and maybe even a slide carb.
      If you don't want to go that far with the Tork-Zilla and engine use this kit but keep the stock linkage and governor.

      @Deucealive75 okay cause I have a bt200x and I drilled out the throttle screw and just to see with the new exhaust I wanted a peak of what speeds this thing was capable of so I for the one time by passed the governor for a quick run and I'm telling you if it's capable of 3000 rpm stock it had to go far past that as I went from 23 top speed to 40 and it was loud my friend so hey you might be right and im just over thinking it but yeah idk

      We suggest starting with the choke on and once it turns over, to turn the choke off. Then, let the engine warm up a bit.

      It could also be your valve lashing. If the valves aren't adjusted to .003 it can be difficult for the engine to turn over.

      when u put BIG CAMS in the motor and the cam lobes want to run into everything IN the motor so have to look/grind... look some more... grind here there everywhere in the motor so the bumps dont run into ... the cyl, the crankshaft, the billet rod... valves run into the piston esp ON HEMI.
