According to one of the Amazon reviews and the manufacturer's own statements, the fridge apparently protrudes about an inch above the top of the subtrunk in the 7 seater. Have you noticed this, and if so has it caused you any problems or annoyance in your day-to-day use? Also, is that the reason you don't have the spacers installed on the subtrunk cover (because there is an air gap naturally created because the fridge sticks a bit over the top of the subtrunk)? Does the manufacturer address this in any of their instructions? Thanks for the video!

Hey! Not at all. It closes completely and I’ve had literally not issues folding and opening the seats in the back. The subtrunk cover closes completely. But I’d recommend keep it slightly uncovered when in use as to not trap too much heat in the compartment. But no fit issues at all on my end. I’ve tested two of these from different distributors already.

Heat needs to be removed and dumped outside the cooler. Do you find the sub trunk hot after it's at temp?

@@kitmarshall4084 I think because it sits in the sub trunk and not the main trunk area - it’s really useful. And most of the time I don’t even notice it.
