To add on to the lock and unlock, if you’re inside and need to lock the doors or unlock them (for someone to enter) there’s a lock icon in the top of the screen. Took me a few days to find that. New Tesla owner for 2 weeks now.

@@mr.getitdone1451 Yes do it, especially if you live in NJ, the state is giving a $2000 incentive plus the $7500 tax credit. Also there's plenty of superchargers and free charging stations but you just have to know where... Definitely apartment friendly. I live in an apartment myself and got it, it just more cost efficient and a very nice car in general... Take the Tesla Plunge lol

Thanks for the video! I bought an aftermarket rear entertainment system but haven't been able to connect it to my Wi-Fi subscription. What do I need to do to get internet in that read system??
I figured out the difference for “park”. If you have your foot on the break it will ask for a tap and if you don’t it will ask you to hold it down.
If you wear sunglasses with FSD, you can scroll the "scroll wheel" instead of putting the pressor on the searing wheel. I tell people it's like a remote-controlled car. When you let off the stick to make it move, the car starts stopping.

Just picked up an M3LR AWD recently after owning many ICE cars and previously an EV6. Tesla far surpasses all EVs on the market today for it's pricepoint. Still love my specific ICE cars but Tesla is a great utility, everyday driver. The perfect combo to me right now is the Model 3 LR for daily and my 911 Turbo S for weekend and performance.

can someone explain to me what is regenerative braking is in a deeper level? does it mean the tesla work as like a gas car?

How It Works:
Unlike traditional brakes that rely on friction to stop the wheels, regenerative braking uses the electric motor to create resistance and slow down the vehicle.
When you lift your foot off the accelerator pedal, the system activates. The more you ease off, the stronger the braking force becomes.
As the motor runs in reverse, it acts as a generator, capturing kinetic energy that would otherwise be lost as heat. This energy is then converted back into electrical energy, increasing your vehicle’s range.
Activation:
Simply release the accelerator pedal, and the regenerative braking kicks in seamlessly.
The power meter (often displayed in the instrument cluster or center screen) shows how much energy is being captured through regen. Left of center means energy capture, while right means energy usage.
Benefits:
Regen reduces wear on braking components and extends their lifespan by over 50%.
Some estimates suggest it can add up to 10% more range to your Tesla.
In summary, Tesla’s regenerative braking system not only enhances efficiency but also contributes to a smoother driving experience.

When the took away the sensors in 23 they took away summon. I understand it should come back but they have to train the vision system.

Funny, I was scheduled to go pickup my new Tesla but they drove it my house without letting me know. I wasn’t home and they just left it on my driveway. Never got charged.

@@TheShahiniGuy Comfortably? I would say so. Interior dimension wise, the Highland is the same as the previous gens. There are many CZcams videos of people putting car seats in the back of M3s. To be sure, you could always visit a Tesla Service Center and test drive a M3 Highland as well as placing your car seat(s) in one to check for fitment.
Autosteer does stop and go on lights, or am i tripping? i used it once on my tesla.
if you have fsd then yes. autosteer can have stop sign and traffic light control

It won’t stop for signs or lights. It will stop if there is a car stopping in front of you in your chosen lane. I’ve tried it out on multi lane roads. If there is a car in the lane next to me it doesn’t stop for lights… perhaps I’m just not brave enough to wait for it to begin slowing down. It will always brake and stop if there is a car directly in front of you. Then it will go again once they start moving again.

Even the 2024 model 3 doesnt have windows tinted. What a pity. I spent a thousand dollars to tint my 2020 model 3.
Can you explain to me what the tax credit means?
Tax credit is the amount for example $7500 that you can deduct from the amount of taxes you owe when you file. If you owe less than $7500 in taxes then you cannot use the full tax credit amount.

Most of Tesla advanced features are Beta. You are fully responsible for any accidents during FSD, Autopilot, or Smart Summon. To mention a few.

Summon is a thing, but it's far from perfect. Newest 3's don't have that.
