    The emotions while watching...
    Went to Washington coast over Thanksgiving when I was a kid
    I sure hope I can do something like this atleast once...

    When we first hiked this route there was a road we could drive the first mile or so in 1974. I have backpacked this area more than a dozen times.

    I just did this hike from South to North a few weeks ago (Feb. 2024) It looks like some of the ladders and bridges have been improved, but be prepared to be wet most of the time! Some of the rope climbs and descents were very muddy.

    It's better to hike it from south to North because then you get past the worst tidally locked spot on the first day after that it's a breeze

    It is Not To-leek point. It is pronounced, toe-Lee-AK” Point.
