Out of All the CZcams videos I've seen. This was the best and well explained too!

What a brilliant video! You make it look SO easy - I'm sure it's not - but the clear instructions given throughout have given me the courage to try filleting a pair for our supper!
    Many thanks.

This is such a superb way of getting the fillet. Having watched this here I have done it several times and it's the best method I've seen. Thanks Mr and Mrs Lucas 👍👍

Sensational! wow, man, you are an artist. Today I struggled to remove the guts and then cut all the fins off with scissors and cut off the head. It took me quite a while. A shame I did not see this vid before :-(
Next time I will apply your method. It is pure genius!

@JahariAluvis Hello, It works with gurnard because the dorsal fin runs the whole length of the body, right up to the head. Potentially, if you manages to keep your knife under the skin of other fish, it could work. I've never actually tried it, but will have a go over the next few weeks and let you know, Sue x

I have tried this on 2 fish so far, practice makes perfect, second attempt was far better, certainly will have another go..

I've eaten a lot of fish and Red Gurnard is in my top 10. It's a shame so few restaurants serve this, but I don't blame them as few customers will be willing to order it.

Looks alot like a sea robin we catch in new york. They are generally looked at as trash fish but I have heard rumors there actually not bad
