It also serves as a taster for a bold addition to his vast recording legacy, the album 'Re-Set', which will follow in April. I've never been a 'fan' of Shakin Stevens. I was just a kid when 'This Ole House' and 'Green Door' were in the charts and they were far more to my mums taste than mine but hearing 'All You Need is Greed' I was blown away. What an absolutely awesome track.

Well this is a strange place to find myself. The last time I was seriously listening to Shaky I was in single figures. I've still got the vinyl. But a random comment from a friend last night had us doing a search on CZcams for Shakin' Stevens. To everyone's surprise there was new music and here I am the following day enjoying my way through all the new music and considering buying a Shaky disc again.

That’s complete bull mate. His manager was Freya Miller, a very fearsome women. The one thing she made sure, was that shaky wasn’t compared to Elvis - shaky hated it ( still does). His music is nothing like Elvis. His manager certainly would not have made that comparison,
