Love this!! Awesome videos. I am having a hell of a time making my 2020 WR450F street legal. Baja Designs no longer makes kits. Same with SicAss Racing and RockyMountain ATV...out of stock and no idea when or if they will replinish. I am doing MOAB and a bunch of Utah stuff in June and need to get the street legal part sorted out. Any ideas??
Thanks for the kind words. Don't forget to subscribe. I bought my WR plated, so I don't have first hand experience buying the parts. A quick search pulls up the Tusk stuff (brake sensors, blinkers) from a few online retailers. However, I know "out of stock" is super common right now in the powersports industry. See if you can piece it together via ebay? Either way good luck! sounds like a fun trip!
how do you find it at longer highway rides? i am looking at purchasing but people say it isnt decent on pavement for long distance, i am only looking at maybe 100km pavement with trails along the way does it handle cruising around 50-60mph okay?
Cesar, we brought freeze dried food like Mountain House. Then cooked them using a backpacking stove like a Jet Boil. For water we brought filters for lake water. Get that quad out there!
What rubber are you guys on little bit of road and extreme rocks seems to be the norm these days same with us I bought a KTM 790R but would think twice running up those rocky hills I'd probably destroy it but my WR450F would be perfect I'm running Michelin starcross 5s they're a great all round tyre and wear well but I don't use the on the road watching a setup vid the other day and the dude was say Pirrelli Scorpion MX Soft was the go and wear really well have you guys tried em ? Cheers guys Happy Trails
We have a variety of tire flavors in our group. I lean towards a sticky compound Shinko as I'd rather have the best grip in the rocks than durability on the street.
Thanks for the reply Garrett Shinkos are popular here in Australia as well very competitively priced all the other brands are $300 a shot I'll definitely give the Shinko a shot man looking forward to more of your videos Happy Trails you guys cheers
I tried the trail with my 1190. Turned back after 2 hours of slow going. I would have loved to have a 790. Lifting a heavy pig every 5 minutes wears you out quick up in that air. Luckily I was camping near the base.
Depends on the bike you have. For me WR450f the strap on either side wrap around the frame where the subframe connects, while the back wraps around the rear fender.
What size tank do you have and how much extra fuel did you carry? I’m thinking of getting a WR426f to be my daily rider to work and back and to go explore local trails
OMG the Rubicon looks like so much fun on the bike. My truck has been on the trails, but no bike. I'll make sure to bring both next time ;)

Great ride! You’re at least the second best WR rider I know.
Nice ride that would have kicked my 60yr old butt. Thanks for sharing guys. The water looked refreshing. Around Bend Oregon out !
Thanks for the comment.

@@GarrettMorrow You're welcome
Awesome video! Makes me want to sell my 990 adventure and go for something smaller and lighter.
Do both!

@@GarrettMorrow Thanks for the quick response. I like, subscribed and hit the bell. Thanks again!!
Great video! What year is your WR? How much wight in luggage did you carry? Thanks for the video mate
LOGAR en el mundo thanks! I would say 30 pounds or so
Looks fun 🤩🤩 can I join, seriously hit me up if you guys are still doing it
Stalled it
Awesome trails! How are you looking the WR so far as a dual sport?
It’s great 👍
Didn't you guys do this on XR600s some time ago?
Lukas Eddy yes. Check out my other Rubicon videos.

I think it cruises great. You may want to re-gear for a higher top speed if the traffic is moving quickly.
Garrett, what state is your WR licensed in? And what did you need to go thru to get it done?
Nevada, and it was already done.
How did you guys sort food and water?
I'm planning to take my 4x4 quad out there.

@@Thumpermad No problem. Thanks for stopping by. I have had great success with the Shinko 505 and 525 stickies.
