What's going on guys! This is VinylicPuma, back with another Borderlands 2 Top 10...or well... scratch that. Back with another Borderlands 2 Countdown video and today, I figured I would revisit what I think are some of the Best Pearlescent Guns and Weapons in Borderlands 2! This video will go over Pearlescent Weapon Drop
Locations for both UVHM Upgrade 1 Pearls as well as UVHM Upgrade 2 Pearls and then I will go ahead and rank my favorite pearls overall!

Yeah, he bailed out. Its too bad. I think BL3 kinda bummed him out. The game has improved a lot now with several rounds of nerfs/buffs and QOL improvements. No new VH’s, but 4th skill trees are coming soon, opening up an already long list of potential builds that are viable at endgame.

As a Maya player I actually enjoy the Unforgiven but I understand why everyone else hates it.

When mentioning the avenger don’t forget it can be godly against raids like hyperious and terramorphous
you can also get them when you hit a triple vault symbol in moxxi's slots in the tiny tina dlc

My dude Puma, i can say that after watching a bunch of your videos that you have rehooked me on BL2.
My first pearl was a Tunguska from a chest in the fridge. The second one was pretty funny, though. I was farming Tubbies at the info stockade and well... After two hours of grinding I suddenly found a Butcher lying on the ground. There had not been a Tubbie and I then realized that the thing had dropped from a Skag pup.

The Storm was my first pearl. I was so excited to see it drop and I love the ability of the gun but it's damage did not compare to my other snipers sadly. I still kept it in my inventory for like 10+ levels lol.

I’ve had the unforgiven pistol. Its my first and only pearlescent weapon, for now.
The Sawbar was the first pearlescent that I got. I got it from a legendary loot midget at the Wildlife Preserve. Freaking slays.
For those looking at this after the Commander Lilith DLC has been released, Uranus drops pearls and legendaries EASILY (and I know that sounded funny)

@@ren5290 yes and a mission for moxxi can spawn a legendary loot marauder for part of the quest that you can farm 4 a minute if done right look it up
I've been farming him got around 20 or 25 legendaries but not a pearlescent
@@santosacosta4553 You have to farm Uranus in UVHM to get him to drop pearls. I have gotten 3 bearcats, a couple butchers, a tunguska, and a storm, along with a bunch of legendaries, within 2 hours of farming this guy. Note that he only drops first gen pearls.
I think they nerfed his drop rate

Heck, once upon a time I've dropped 2 perlescent weapons out of tiny tina's lootsplosion slot machines in like 5 minutes of using em. That was sweet.
Today I killed Son of Mothrakk and got nothing. Opened a red chest in the room right after: Skullmasher.
One time I got a legendary berserker class mod from a pot in the infinite lair of agony and I also got a madhouse from a tree stumpy in the forest

Got to love bl2, my first pearlescant gotten on my ps4... I get it from melee attacking a handsome Jack cardboard cutout in digistruct... not from a tubby or a loot midget but from a cardboard cutout... at least it was the sawbar, could have been worse.
first pearl was at the start of UVHM and it was a avenger world drop from bullymongs

I got the bekah cuz my friend was using community patch while we farmed uranus :D

I got my first pearl today, it was a butcher dropped by an outlaw in finks slaugherhouse
Haven't watched a video like this in a while, man I wish my PC could run this game like I want it to. I surpass all the requirements and even toning down the quality doesn't boost fps. I still get sub 30 frames... didn't stop me from getting 800 hours into the game, but man I crave for good graphics...
Got a Sawbar to drop from the Slots in Flamerock Refuge. The odds are extremely low, but it is another source of 1st Gen Pearls.
Managed to get one from a Tubby Skag outside Shock Fossil caves, also got a Butcher from the Warrior
I had a level 35 bearcat. But it was on my first character and my save corrupted.
The issue with the Godfinger in my opinion is that enemies in this game tend to only spawn in once you come close, probably to improve overall performance. Going into what appeared to be a harmless situation and then getting swarmed by a dozend enemies that all of the sudden jump out doors and buildings is something probably anyone who ever played the game died from. Now, with the Godfinger only performing at super high ranges most enemies simply won't have spawned in, meaning that you would have to go in, trigger them and retreat from the fight if you wanted to get the most out of the Godfinger, at which point you are just better off using any other sniper.
I've killed myself so many times with the avenger...

I had a good introduction to pearlesents in Borderlands 2 the Butcher and then I got the wonderlust and I thought that the Butcher was the only good pearlesent in the game

I actually got 2 pearl weapons to drop from Uranus bot in the new dlc. I got the Unforgiven and the Butcher. The Unforgiven I got rid of cause it had really slow fire rate but I kept the Butcher cause it’s a beast.

ZERO-TWO Borderlands and more it’s better than most versions of the butcher unless you get a butcher with 6X then maybe overcomp comes with more than 3X but I’ve gotten it twice now and 3X is the only one I’ve gotten

It was a bullyrot, which I believe is UVHM, and also it was an unending stalker with a matching grip and a Jakobs sight.

I have a sawbar with no element. Idk who gave it to me anymore because it was on my maya save and I just used claptraps stash to give it too my zer0 and now I use it there.

Another way to find pearls is the Tinder Snowflake chests, I've gotten 3 from about 20 farms. Critical ascension + cheese spot and you can knock him out in less than a minute

So I killed Uranus, and I got the butcher, the unforgiven, and the bearcat all from him, on UVHM at level 60. So apparently he drops pearls too

First pearl was a slag butcher at level 67 from chest at buzzard tower in thousand cuts. Thought I was a God for a few levels.
Note: The Butcher can be dropped by Uranus Bot in Helios Fallen (UVHM only).

Ok the way I use the unforgiven is on zero with a class that boosts two fang by 6 or 5 and use the relic that boosts two fang by like 30% or something it's from tiny Tina's DLC and it's like good for him with bore 1 shot on kill and ya every single time you'll shoot it'll shoot two times so like it's nice to slag and deception and rek some shit

Or you can just farm the big robot in Helios fallen i got all three of the top 3 weapons from just farming him in level 80 and 60s he seems to drop all different types of stuff but for those three from just him

The unforgiven is great you just aren’t using the character for it you have to use zero with some of his abilities especially the double shot I used to use this pistol all the time just need the right character and skills

BL3 really needs to make pearls extremely OP.
Unforgiven is a good gun I am sad how much hate it gets.. it's base damage is truly impressive and I manage to one shot almost all regular mob types with it using gaige, maya, even the commando
People hate because of how hard it is to get and what you get for all of the effort you put in to get it
It's one of my favorite weapons in the game, it reminds me of the Ambassador in TF2
The beacah is the best pearl by far. Butcher is really good and the carnage isnt that bad at roland with my all araound explosiv and tourge build. The others are....meeee

i have to admit the pearl weapons in borderlands 2 is quite dissapointing but still there are some decent or even good ones that can be use in combat no matter the level hopefully the 3rd game will have weapons better then current
I've found that most pearls can actually drop from Uranus and Cassius in the Fight for Sanctuary DLC. Almost all pearls I've ever gotten (roughly around 12) are from either of them. I also once got a Stalker from a Varkid pile in the Tundra Express which was very nice. The ones I've gotten from FFS bosses are the Storm, the Butcher, the Bekah, the Bearcat, the Stalker, the Sawbar, and the Unforgiven. Hope the info helps 🖤

Or the 3rd way is world drop. The easiest way is the snowman chest farm
