Yeah, he even says the badass saplings are rare. About 33% of the infected pods on TVHM alone spawned badass saplings from my experience, so I felt they were the most frequently encountered badass enemy in the whole game. Nirvana was my first effervescent and I wasn't a fan of it at all.
It is worth mentioning that the World Burn multiplies your chance of getting the Electric Chair grenade to drop from Uranusbot by about 10x. Goes from about a 5% to about a 50% drop chance if you kill the bot with it.

I would have gone for more Hyperius runs if I didn't want to try a commando class after 10 years playing BL without trying one. Sure Axton can manage Hyperius but it's still a pain to farm raid bosses with him.
I think the Nova and Roid buffs on the Easy Mode and Retainer only apply to the Writhing Deep and Raid On Digistruct Peak respectively as they were meant to make those areas easier when you have the full set
The Hot Mama is AWESOME for Gaige. Since scoped shots with it have perfect accuracy, the demerits of anarchy are nullified (other than having lots of sway), giving her an accurate sniper rifle with up to 2100% damage.

The dragon keep dlc will always be my favorite but I loved how fight for sanctuary gave some closer to some other characters. (Catch a ride Scooter, catch a ride 😂)
Honestly, I thought the Nirvana was a sort of "guaranteed gun" this whole time. It dropped for me in the backburner camp right before it turned into the new hub. And it's description on the gun seemed to fit with that assumption as it talked about its take on the "when life gives you lemons" quote.
Nirvana should have been a double barrel shotgun from jakobs to be honest. Red text being: shoots heads off like no other. Makes the shotgun like a sniper with the tightest spread ever.

Thanks for the info and help with these new “rainbow” weapons. I’ve picked up a few and didn’t realize how good they were for the level they are. I have all legendary weapons at level 50, but my kids have level 30-37 characters with only a few legendary items (the caustic infinity is a favorite). Now the game may be easier if we pair up some of these new weapons shields and other items.

Got a Nirvana when I started the Captain Lilith campaign in UVHM at lvl71. A tubby Skagg dropped it as soon as I encountered them at the beginning for the campaign.

The sand worms in The Burrows drop Retainers and Toothpicks like crazy; I got 3 Retainers and 1 Toothpick in 2 minutes.

I just randomly came across the Nirvana as I was murdering enemies,

@@MothDax Yeah, I got it too soon after starting a UVHM run of the dlc, but I must have killed like 20 badass saplings so far and thats the only one I got
@@Madway I got mine nearing the fight with Hector I didn't even use it to win
My friend and I began the DLC and he got a Nirvana to drop right as we got to Vaughn for the first time.
