He actually uses the LowBoys, but this "Dowel Movement" piece is a joke... they really are killer beaters though!

@@famitory Yeah!! I tried those Junk Hats at Drumeo a while back, they're neat!
The metal head idea is pretty cool, as long as the edges wouldn't damage a drum's bearing edge, maybe having a mylar head-rim with a metal disc for most of the actual head could have some interesting effects!
