We built an AR9 pistol. The upper is from CBC Industries and is rear charging with a 4" barrel. The lower is a FMP9 from Foxtrot Mike. It comes with the mag release and the bolt catch pre installed.
I built this exact 9mm wasp from CBC with a Glock compatible lower from PSA. I LOVE the gun. I recommend a hiperfire trigger or something close to 3.5lbs. 300 rounds through without a hitch. Also never oiled or anything yet.
My first question is what weight buffer did you use? Was a PCC buffer? I found that 8 oz works well for me. But that depends on what type of bolt carrier group you used and what the weight of that is. I've had good luck but I've heard of many guys suffering with these builds
Not sure on the buffer weight. It is the one cbc provided for the pistol lower build kit. They are vague on what the specs of it is. We shot the gun and it performed well with what they provided.
Waiting on my 4" megara built from delta team tactical

Did you shoot it? I wanted to get a barrel for my ar9 epc build.
Yes we did. It performed very well. Hoping to make a little video shooting it soon.
How was the shipping for the upper
It was around a week if I remember right. It’s been a while since the video. I’ve had cbc take a while to ship in the past though.
At 2:12 you say this piece, so what piece was that❓ you barely even showed it or what it looks like
Sorry that was the trigger sear I dropped in there.
