Using the Aero Precision EPC parts as my base, I built an awesome competition 9MM PCC from the ground up. We'll go over the complete parts list and then check out how it all turned out.
I for one have no objections to be bored out of my mind watching you put it together. Just bought my first PCC, but I want to build one. Thanks for the video.
After recovering from the shock of 5.7 x 28 ammo for my PS90 carbine going from $28. a box of 50 to $70. or more I retired it and my RUGER 57 pistol until prices come back to earth. THEN I got a RUGER PC chassis carbine in November of 2021. While researching here on You Tube I realized I needed to do an "M*CARBO Upgrade" so I added all their internal and external parts. Then a bunch of MAGPUL parts and a TACCOM machined Delrin flared mag well adaptor.and a HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight. Now I'm ready for Steel Challenge matches.
I got an Aero Precision upper and lower 9 mm in the FDE. I went with the 5.5 inch barrel with 4.8 rail. I still haven’t finished the build because I’m still deciding. Im looking forward to the finished product.
Where is your second part to this build? I think it’s a GREAT looking rifle, and I’m curious of what you think of it compared to your DB. I believe that I’m gonna build one of these just for kicks and giggles!
I was looking for the video of the comparison of the Diamondback and this build. Did you every post it. I am very interested in how the Aero shot. Again great video.
Can you confirm that you used the Carbine length spring? Blitzkrieg/Kynshot recommends the Rifle length spring with just the HD Kynshot buffer and the Carbine length spring when using the 2.5 weight.
No they haven’t. It’s a shame because it makes Aero appear to lack integrity and proper care for their paying customers. They literally marketed this EPC-9 and mentioned nowhere that it only takes 9mm ball ammo. I regret giving Aero my money. I had to send the barrel to Rudy Koester at Macon Armory for him to add a proper feed cone channel. Why didn’t Aero do that? Save your money and get you a CMMG BANSHEE. My buddy bought one and it eats anything he feeds it. Ball or HP ammo.
Well it is February 14... yes valentines day and my wife is asleep so watching gun porn. I have an mbx extreme pro pcc and want to build another pcc to compete with it. Your buikd is almost identicle to what i am planning. You had some better options then i had originally (hand guard, buffer system) that i am going to incorporate into my build. I am wondering about your shooting it. Havent been able to find that video. Apparently you havent posted it yet. Did it ever happen? If so have all your parts worked like you thought they would?

Agrred 100%
Nice build, I would like to see your complete list of materials, with part numbers of this build.....
What model trigger was that?

Nice video, very informative. Thank you.

I just bought the same upper and lower for the same purpose. Gonna build slowly. I haven't shot any USPSA since the kid was born in June.
Can we get a update of how the build shoots and any adjustments you had to make?
I'm going to start an ar9 build here pretty soon
You should look into the Aero Precision anti-tilt buffer tube.
My EPC suggestion is get the Odinworks lightweight 16 in barrel. It is a 5.5 in barrel with pinned and welded aluminum shroud.
********** Aero Precision is excellent quality !! ***********
Any updates with your build does it function flawlessly.
Update us on your opinion of the kynshot buffer. I have heard that they work great especially when paired with a tubbs flatwire buffer spring.

My only concern is does that ported barrel extension blast through the handguard?
Just bought a aero precision 9 and I’m wanting to get into reloading and competition shooting with it. How do I look up events?
Still waiting for the shooting video. Btw what’s the total amount of the build? Thanks and just subscribed.
i got the same setup, but i got the taccom buffer system, hows the recoil on your setup?
So....did you ever get to shoot it? I'm interested in how this setup worked out for you.

I’m wanting to build something similar for my son to start competing with. What is the overall weight of it? Never mind I caught it.
Video of you shooting it?
Nice video dude! Have you shot it yet?
Nice
Holy that’s a nice build…. I’m also building my EPC-9 as my first gun. But Aero is taking forever shipping my lower parts kit :/ nice video though!
I ordered mine from Brownell's with 10% off & free shipping.
regarding the TACCOM Extreme Ultralight Handguard, the color is just a sticker?
hi. does fit lower aero pcc to brekke upper pcc? tnx
May have missed the final cost??
Do you have a link or name of that glock block? In the vice? I need that.
question does the barrel qualify as a rifle barrel?
Did I hear you say, it's a 10 inch barrel? I ordered all my stuff to build my AR9 including the same optic you have it cost me $1,540 to make.
Did Aero solve the barrel feed ramp issue?
I want to know too? I heard alot of people either grind their own feed ramp or use a different barrel
No not yet

Looks kinda like a stormtrooper Gat
Where’s the shooting video
I'm with the atf and I'm here to help

And 10 days from your post fucking Putin invaded Ukraine. Maybe we'll need those PCCs of ours if SHTF.
Why the fuck did you buy an endplate? The EPC 9 uses a 4-40 set screw
I hope this is a joke.
