    Love the Wilson grip module on my 320 Rx , installed a apex flat trigger,with olight light and is now the perfect home defense weapon. Shot freehand at 15 yards and 2 in groups all day long. My only problem was the factory mag would not fit in the magwell had to grind the little wings off the mags to work, the only thing I would like to get is some 21 round mags for it.

    I think one thing worth mentioning about the Wilson Combat grip that you didn't cover is how much narrower it is than the X-Carry grip, and how much it tapers in width from the front of the grip to the rear. The result is that the backstrap is quite a bit narrower than the X-Carry grip's; it might even be half as wide. I guess I can see why Wilson Combat did that -- the backstrap really digs into your palm and that may help with recoil control. Personally, I did not like how the Wilson Combat grip feels in my hands and sold it. I much prefer the uniform width of the X-Carry grip from front to rear. The only thing I might change on it is to add the factory grip weight.

    You can't put a G17 or G34 slide onto a G19 frame, so how do you know you'd have a "huge gap"?

      Thanks for checking out the review. You actually can put a longer Glock slide on a smaller Glock frame. For this Lone wolf has their slide adapter:
      www.lonewolfdist.com/PRODUCT/922564/lwd-slideadapter/
      I think this would be a good option if you’re looking to fill in the gap 😎👍

      @@ConcealedCarryChannel the 17/34 have different locking blocks than the 19. The slides /barrels will not exchange.

    P320 x-carry has NOT been discontinued. They are just now on revision 2 which no longer carries the giant x-carry name on the side of the slide and no longer has the relief cut on top of the slide.
    Great video, otherwise!

      @@ConcealedCarryChannel looking forward to it! It seems like lots of folks aren't aware of the revision. The ID code on the cases end in -R2(revision 2).

    Do you know why did SIG discontinue the Carry P320 X?

  • @AGC828
    @AGC828 Před 3 lety

    Unfortunately that's to be expected. The front serrations of an aftermarket slide not matching that of the frame used. Unless they make the slide specifically for that model of p320 (or whatever the frame might be). Something Glock people don't need to worry about being that Glocks don't have serrations in the front. So, matching any slide to the Glock frames is just about if you like the metal work done to the slide. Where the lightening cuts are. The shape of them.
    With the Sig P320...the guns end up looking like "Frankenstein guns" viewed up close). I'd rather keep it simple. I'm not into tricking out my guns. Just buy a P320 X5 Legion if you want the weighted grip and open top slide. Want or feel you need work done to your gun? I'd stick with internal mods...at most Cerekoting the exterior (i like "green camo" and lately FDE...would consider a "FDE Camo" Cerekote).
    I have guns that are too busy looking from the outside.

      There isn't a need for them to match up. If you're gripping the slide you don't want to grip the frame. I believe this is for how some people grip the frame with your support hand thumb on it.

    • @R.Tafolla
      @R.Tafolla Před 2 lety +2

      Those serrations are not aesthetic sir! They are there for people who use a thumbs forward grip, so that they have better purchase of the slide when firing. They are there more for function than form. I’d rather be worried about ergonomics control and comfort rather than appearance.

      Uh, a lot of Glocks do have front slide serrations. Factory and aftermarket. The slide and frame serrations are extremely useful on many guns. It's starting to look like you don't know that the "busy" parts are actually features and you don't know how to use them.

    The old 320 modules sucked, chunky crap. The reason I wouldn’t own a 320! Love the new x series modules and the new Wilson compact module, definitely makes the P320x a new and vastly improved pistol!
