I live in a little cabin in the woods at a farm as well and sometimes I’m also tired or unmotivated just seeing your content, and going through a lot of the same feelings and struggles (especially the firewood) it’s nice to feel seen. Sometimes it motivates me to do my farm chores or want to go make something from the garden. Thank you, you’ve got friends in the Appalachia if you ever need one
Yep! I hear ya! Motivation can be in short supply sometimes! Especially when it feels like there is soooooo much to do before winter. I just spent the afternoon splitting and stacking fire wood. It felt good to get over a cord done today. How is your fall weather holding up over on the east side of the country? In the PNW it is still crazy warm, like Isabel said. 100000% agree with the sentiment of this video. Our society convinced us to strive for more and that’s ultimately not satisfying and never will be. It’s a consumerism mindset. As soon as you start to practice contentment with your current life you start to notice the small happies. The perfect moments in between the crappy ones. That’s where good life lies ❤

I was raised in the country in southern Virginia in a time of a hand pump to get your water, a garden to get your vegetables, cutting and splitting wood 🪵🪓 for heat and cooking 🍳🔪 . I tell you I like her videos but understand she's getting to live the life that most people can only dream of because he's pretty much living off of her parents. From the information that I was able to gather I saw that that tiny house she has is on her parents vacation home land. So if she ever needed any amenities that she couldn't do without she just walks a couple of hundred yards over to her parents' cabin. So you got to understand a lot of this is stuff that she does for the sake of CZcams show but I'll be honest with you again, I like it. I know it's fake I know what I'm getting into when I watch reality shows or when I used to watch wrestling. You got to kind of suspend disbelief you just enjoy the show and that's what I'm doing with this even though I know 90% of it is fake. She couldn't really do this in real life without the help of her parents. Think about it even her sissy boyfriend gets to live there for free and play music and they built him a little place of his own that he stays in mostly which they call the art studio
Oh yeah and people are correct. She did get all her breastfeeding from Chris but for 15 bucks it's worth it to buy her kindle virgin because he get it all at one place versus having to search for each one to get the perfect recipe. So I'd say go ahead and buy her Kindle version of recipes that she got off of Pinterest. I did and I made the bread and I love it

I’ve made promises, and I keep them. So, it’s because I have integrity to my word, and sometimes things change (for better or for worse, richer poorer - that kind of thing). You don’t just bail when things are less than ideal, for the benefit of all involved. That’s why. Sometimes you think you know what you want, but maybe a better example comes along that may not be available to you for many reasons. Suppose in heaven, some imperfections and tests are eliminated. Extreme patience is a lesson for some.

I'm very impressed by your harvest each time I watch you cook with ingredients from your garden. I attempted a garden this year, and I've had very little success so far. Just a little bit of small lettuce in early summer, and some carrots that are still growing. Could you please do a video or a part of a video with tips for a successful harvest?

I relate so much to what you said about not focusing so much on changing you life but instead changing your mind 🫶🏻 This year has been mentally and emotionally challenging for me too and O completely agree with this. The beauty about crisis is that usually comes with change… and the beauty of life is that it brings change in ways we were not expecting. I think this lightness we are feeling is because the change has manifested in our minds and souls and that is so sooo valuable. Thank you, your videos always calm me and this is what I needed to hear today.
What I've noticed with you, is when you get off the land for a bit, a day or two, the change in perspective really helps you come back and enjoy your place. Maybe scheduling more excursions throughout the months will help? Making a point to leave the routine and shake things up?

@@jaidenlove2419 well, I’m already in a commitment, but it’s more work at this point, than enjoyment, at times. It hasn’t been everything I hoped for when I was young (I’m nearly 65). I’ve made promises, and I keep them. So, it’s because I have integrity to my word, and sometimes things change (for better or for worse, richer poorer - that kind of thing). You don’t just bail when things are less than ideal, for the benefit of all involved. That’s why. Sometimes you think you know what you want, but maybe a better example comes along that may not be available to you for many reasons. Suppose in heaven, some imperfections and tests are eliminated. Extreme patience is a lesson for some.

I'm very impressed by your harvest each time I watch you cook with ingredients from your garden. I attempted a garden this year, and I've had very little success so far. Just a little bit of small lettuce in early summer, and some carrots that are still growing. Could you please do a video or a part of a video with tips for a successful harvest?

I'm so happy to hear that last bit from you. It took you going against the grain and never giving up to allow your mind to make the subconscious shift and now you vibrate that truth! Amen, these off grid videos have helped me to start making my own off Grid or (almost of grid) home in the city. Started with hanging my clothes in the backyard and now growing my own food. Soon looking into solar options to generate my entire home . Life is amazing with everything that is right in front of us!

I hear you Isabel. I’m also living in a cabin in the mountains 🇯🇵 Always so much seemingly to do. This weeks been a busy one, yet so productive. So today I just slept and recovered and looked inwards finding gratitude wherever I look. It’s a complicated but beautiful life!
Been watching a few of your vids lately from since you started up until now. You have not changed a bit, and the coffee always seems to smell fresh and ready. Glad to see and hear you naturally appreciate basic things in your life which requires much more time and patience than a quick stop at denatured McDonald's. Stay true to yourself Isabel, and stick around with Nature as much as you can. I did and still am, and have no regret in my simple life embracing earth, wind, fire, (and coffee), as any outdoor nature nut would do. Keep on inspiring.

Hi Isa, I really loved the message you gave at the end of the video. I relate so much to what you said about not focusing so much on changing you life but instead changing your mind 🫶🏻 This year has been mentally and emotionally challenging for me too and O completely agree with this. The beauty about crisis is that usually comes with change… and the beauty of life is that it brings change in ways we were not expecting. I think this lightness we are feeling is because the change has manifested in our minds and souls and that is so sooo valuable. Thank you, your videos always calm me and this is what I needed to hear today.

What I've noticed with you, is when you get off the land for a bit, a day or two, the change in perspective really helps you come back and enjoy your place. Maybe scheduling more excursions throughout the months will help? Making a point to leave the routine and shake things up?
There was a deer in the background on the left at around 11:22. Beautiful!!!! I think a young persons job is to experience things and find out what they enjoy. Once you figure out who you are and what you enjoy you find that you are content and not searching so much.

I know what u mean about feeling happy for no reason. I love plants and have been moving my succulents, cacti, and bulbs indoors for winter. As I was doing this I just felt so happy it made me cry.
